Paleo DinoA Herpetological Good TimeI’ve been listening to this show for under a year now and I must say that Ep 213 pushed me to leave this review. Hearing the Steppe reference to Zoo Tycoon was perfection. It took me back to my childhood days sitting on the computer making my exhibits for the snow leopard. A truly great Herp podcast and is unique and sets itself apart from the rest. Keep up the great work gents.

DabilgeLove the show!I listen to this in the car on my way to work. I like the shorter and more focused single-topic episodes and the frog sound quizzes!

🐓🦎Great podcastI’m new to this show and I really enjoy it. I love reptiles and I love learning about other Herptiles. I recommend this show to anyone who likes to learn and who is passionate about reptiles and/or amphibians!

E TeitsScience, herps, humor: its all hereAbsolutely the best herp podcast available, especially for the nerdy or research oriented among us. If you want something beyond herpetoculture, this is for you. The hosts wit and banter makes it all the more enjoyable.

Jeff FrederickBrilliantA much-needed academic approach to reptiles and amphibians. Ben and Tom are great at putting high level information into a digestible format for the average enthusiast.

jhror14Stellar discussionGuys, you make my drive to work a little more interesting! I love the scientific papers, that’s something I’m not well versed in, so it’s great to learn more in that area. In the caecilian episode you made a brief mention of research done by Bill Hayes on juvenile rattle snake envenomation. I immediately called Bill up and told him he was famous! I worked with him for a short time last year, and I guess I didn’t realize how well known he was in the herp world. Anyways, he was happy to hear that you guys mentioned his work. He said his grad students did most of the work. Keep up the good work, and I would love to hear an episode dedicated to tiger salamanders.

SbmpetmasterFantasticAbsolutely amazing podcast. The hosts do a great job explaining terms and going in depth on recent and past herpetological studies. This re-lit my passion for herpetology and got me going back to school!

DobzhanskyConversational scientific nerdologyFound this after it was mentioned by Darren Naish on a recent Tet Zoo podcats episode and I’m glad I did. I get to live vicariously through these two bio-nerds as they share their thoughts on interesting published scientific papers while having a bit of a laugh. I like the feel of it all, like I’m sitting at a table, listening to them talk turtle (or whatever) over a couple of pints. The only issue i have is that I really hate the music, but I’m here for the herps, not the tunes.
