Hard for me not to think maybe someone law enforcement is not involved because this many mistakes don’t just happen without someone trying to cover something up. Thank you for me finding this podcast due to a TV show showing the story. My heart goes out to the family. They have lost these precious souls. I know that if they were alive, I feel that they would be back in touch with this family. This makes no sense without someone trying to cover something up.

How can anyone listen to this woman’s voice for more than a minute? It is very disturbing. Or is it AI- can’t tell. Whatever or whoever it is sounds like a robot.

The Fall Line is an excellent podcast because it does not seek to sensationalize a crime but presents it in a respectful way with regard to their victims. Money given on Patreon goes for counselling of the victim’s family who appear on the podcast. Host Laurah Norton’s heart is in the right place.

Re-doing my review. I really like this show. Lots of work goes into these cases, and Laurah and Brooke put so much time and energy in. Spotlighting cases that really need that light shining on them. They also talk to people who have boots on the ground in searches for missing people. Very important stuff!

I happen to adore Laurah’s comforting voice but more importantly, the care she and her team take with each case they cover. They’re doing the hard, important work and making a real difference while doing it. I’ve been a huge fan since the start.

Laurah brings empathy, humility, and expert research to each case she covers. It’s truly another level of true crime podcasting. This is the kind of show that the genre needs right now. -tz

I liked the episode of the fall line that I listened to except that the host sounds like she is AI. It really depersonalizes storytelling.

The reading by the host sounds unnatural. The pauses (or lack of), the lisping and the almost monotone reporting, is brisk and awkward. I actually really want to listen but am so distracted by how swift the info is coming at me that I cannot “settle in” to hear what the reader is reporting. I’m going to agree with others that it must be an auto-reader. Bummer.

I have been a fan of The Fall Line for years and years. It continues to do amazing things and touch my heart. Laurah and Brooke are doing such important work. Everyone will learn something from listening. Thank you for what you do.

There has to be a way to enhance the narrators voice to take out the lisping & make it have a normal cadence. Unlistenable as is.

Move learned so much from listening to this. It’s changed the way I consider missing person cases. It’s giving me context to appreciate how/why cases to or don’t get attention. It’s not “political”. But it’s reality. It’s also helped me appreciate how much work goes into closing cases. And how we can all help families get answers. And I LOVE the narration. The facts are delivered without inflection or dramatization. None is needed. And it demeans the purpose of the podcast… to generate movement on these cases. It’s not entertainment. I listen to other ‘true crime’ podcasts now and I can’t stand the dramatized delivery. This is hands down one of the first podcasts I recommend to anyone who asks.

I like true crime but I don’t think politics belongs in this space. Why make it seem that every case doesn’t get attention because of the race of the victims? Why focus on the stereotypes? Would be better if you’d just stick with the facts and not imply or excuse anything.

I love this podcast! I have lived in Nashville, my entire life. As a native of the area, it makes it much more interesting when you recognize street names or are somewhat familiar with the case. She gives complete information without dragging it on with (what I think is) irrelevant information. Her voice is not annoying like some podcasters, especially when you want to listen to multiple episodes at one time. Keep putting out cases from Nashville and middle Tennessee! PLEASE!! I just purchased the new Laurah Norton audiobook and can’t wait to start listening! I also just subscribed on Apple premium. Keep putting out this great work!!!

I don’t normally write reviews, but this is such a great concept for a podcast that I hope the producers will eventually listen to the reviews and fix the narration to attract more listeners. The narrator is “robotic” and a bit monotone, but the biggest problem for me is that they have a very “wet” mouth sound and it feels like someone is talking to me with a mouth half-full of water. I can’t shake the feeling that I’m about to be sprayed with spittle. I’ll try back in a few months to see if this has been improved.

I was in that area 3 month’s and visited a convenience store near by. Always with 4-5 young men/boys inside. They were skinny with shaven heads chin hair and the meanest eyes. I would leave quickly. I don’t knowtheir history trauma no dad mom having two jobs since they made less. Seemed very damaged loosersxto me. I left area soon. Never lived in such a place. Very sad.

I agree with other reviewers that the robotic voice is off putting, otherwise love the show. And as another commenter said, the episodes should be longer.

Great podcast. I love how the story flows so easily. Can you remove the subscription only episodes from the unplayed list? It's hard to know which ones I've listened to and which ones I haven't. Keep up the good shows!!

But man…..can the narrator go oooooonnnnn foooorrreeevvveeerrr. Would be kind of ok’ish if she didn’t sound a bit robotic. Allowing the interviewees to tell their stories with the narrator simply filling in the gaps would be preferable but will still listen as the stories themselves are interesting.

I am obsessed with all things true crime and my favorite thing is when the research dives so deep you’re going to find all the juicy details here with the fall line. Amazing research, community outreach, and STANDING UP FOR THE MARGINALIZED VICTIMS. 10/10

Thank you for bringing awareness to so many cold case that have been forgotten! Their families still miss their loved ones and having no one being held accountable just deepens the pain.

Sadly all the episodes are gone. They started disappearing about a month ago and are now no longer listed in Apple Podcasts.

Thanks so much for bringing life back to this sad and disheartening disappearance of these beautiful twin teenage girls. Sad , that their county does see the value in their lives or investigation and so thanks to your podcast and the two (Laura Coates and Page) detectives/prosecutors that thought enough to get this disappearance looked at again.

What these women do to share these stories is so important. Deemed cold cases, human lives are just forgotten. Just swept aside due to “lack of funding” or whatever the reason, it’s so amazing that a small group of people work hard to get these voices of missing/murdered people heard. Great work, ladies, and all involved. You’re important. You matter. Just like the souls you’re bringing back into the light. They matter. They’re important.

This podcast does a great job researching facts and the production of the storyline is flawless! I always enjoy!

No idea why this podcast needs an over 90 second ad with this host speaking so painfully slllloooowwwly about this one true crime case. I have no interest in this show, but it has one of the most irritating ads I have ever heard. Like maybe try speaking a bit faster, and actually maybe I don’t need to hear this entire girl’s life story in a promo before deciding to listen to the podcast? I’m just really sick of hearing this ad constantly during my other podcasts, so here, have a one-star review.

This is a wonderful podcast and it is obvious that the creators are passionate about trying to bring attention to these unsolved and largely forgotten cases. Very well researched and the narration and storytelling are impeccable!

This is a quality podcast with meaningful topics and a fresh insight towards victims who are not given the attention they deserve due to several reasons. Just needs better audio quality for the phone interviews, please.

Brooke and Laura excel in puffing up true crime personalities like Sarah Turney, business partner and friend of serial plagiarist Ashley Flowers. Have no fear - they ignore the plagiarism topic in hopes that, I’m guessing, Ashley Flowers and Audiochuck will threw them some scraps. Pathetic.

I finally made an account just to write this review. This podcast is doing something special by donating, supporting families and working hard to share missing people information on every social media channel. Some podcasts aim to build listener with negativity. Some try to help the world. Those are the podcasts I will support with my downloads.

What the HECK? The show notes And heading says solved , of Dennis Doe doin to be William Da Shawn Hamilton, but I listened to the Entire Episode and not ONCE did it give the update . WHAT THE HECK? I finally researched it on my own and got the info , ( mom ). Is THIS how you run all your episodes ???

But I think it’s narrated by a computer/tiktok voice. There’s no way it’s a real human and it’s really hard to listen to :( have an actual person narrate!!
