RedelbeeEnjoyed but would recommend shorter episodesI found this podcast an SLP grad student. I enjoyed it but if I could offer one piece of feedback, it would be to break up longer episodes into shorter episodes of 30-40 minutes for a more digestible format. The episode I tuned into was an hour and thirty minutes long and covered several different topics that might have been separated out. Thank you!

NicNicNicNicNicNiFavorite Speech Podcast!*Likes*: Perfect speech podcast for a long commute! The three hosts represent different settings, and each episode is broken into fun segments to keep things moving! I disagree with those saying “not enough research talk”- i’d jump out of my car onto the highway if I had to listen to an hour of straight research back-to-back. *Dislikes*: The intro/sign off music from the first season or so—at least it didn’t sound like the American Horror Story theme song, like the informed SLP’s intro. D: *Requests*: Another episode diving deeper into EF, with Mike!

marissammmTime flies as you listen-I travel often and their podcast makes me trip fly by and keeps me entertained. I like hearing what’s going on in the speech world for general news, and you really get to know the show hosts. Very down to earth and have such a wide variety of guests as well!

Emily_speech2 starsWhen I listen to a podcast, I am hoping to learn something from people who are knowledgeable about the topic. The SLP’s on this podcast hadn’t even read the articles being discussed in the episode I listened to and did not seem prepared to discuss the topics. 1 star for choosing good topics and 1 star for the section from the informed SLP.

SLPstudent101Amazing slp podcastThis fills a void for me since I am the only SLP at my job. Love the blend of science and chit chat.
-
SLP EOMore focus on discussing the research pleaseWould love if there was a little less chit chat and more time actually discussing the research. Sometimes the first 10 minutes are just conversations between the hosts.

heartportomuitoEasy access to researchI really appreciate having podcasts like this that I can listen to driving to clients’ homes or whenever I have a little downtime. I like that they cover a range of topics. Because though I am busy (like all of us) it would be good to have a little more straight talk and a little less witty banter. That’s just my preference but overall good info. Thanks!
