Enjoyed but would recommend shorter episodes
I found this podcast an SLP grad student. I enjoyed it but if I could offer one piece of feedback, it would be to break up longer episodes into shorter episodes of 30-40 minutes for a more digestible format. The episode I tuned into was an hour and thirty minutes long and covered several different topics that might have been separated out. Thank you!

    Favorite Speech Podcast!
*Likes*: Perfect speech podcast for a long commute! The three hosts represent different settings, and each episode is broken into fun segments to keep things moving! I disagree with those saying “not enough research talk”- i’d jump out of my car onto the highway if I had to listen to an hour of straight research back-to-back. *Dislikes*: The intro/sign off music from the first season or so—at least it didn’t sound like the American Horror Story theme song, like the informed SLP’s intro. D: *Requests*: Another episode diving deeper into EF, with Mike!

    Time flies as you listen-
I travel often and their podcast makes me trip fly by and keeps me entertained. I like hearing what’s going on in the speech world for general news, and you really get to know the show hosts. Very down to earth and have such a wide variety of guests as well!

    2 stars
When I listen to a podcast, I am hoping to learn something from people who are knowledgeable about the topic. The SLP’s on this podcast hadn’t even read the articles being discussed in the episode I listened to and did not seem prepared to discuss the topics. 1 star for choosing good topics and 1 star for the section from the informed SLP.

    Reference to Dolly Parton podcast.
I just have to say that I am loving the Dolly podcast. You have to hear it yourself to appreciate it. She’s amazing!

    Amazing slp podcast
This fills a void for me since I am the only SLP at my job. Love the blend of science and chit chat.

More focus on discussing the research please
Would love if there was a little less chit chat and more time actually discussing the research. Sometimes the first 10 minutes are just conversations between the hosts.

    Easy access to research
I really appreciate having podcasts like this that I can listen to driving to clients’ homes or whenever I have a little downtime. I like that they cover a range of topics. Because though I am busy (like all of us) it would be good to have a little more straight talk and a little less witty banter. That’s just my preference but overall good info. Thanks!

    Dr. Aviv
Thank you, Theresa, for another awesome evidence-based podcast. Dr. Aviv shared a lot of great information for clinicians treating patients with dysphasia. Keep up the good work. You are setting the bar higher for all of us!
