EinpieA wonderful ShowI so enjoy this podcast! Such unusual music that I’m now hooked on! Thank you for this entertainment. Many Blessings, Sara I must say that now with Allison in the lead I don’t listen when she takes over. Such a non believer really doesn’t belong on this program! Tim, I tried to find your phone number to tell you this! I live on the side of a mountain in Washington State. Three sightings, two foot prints but most of all you were talking to a recent gusted asking about hearing children laughing. I have heard it twice now. Way up the mountain and it sounds like a kids birthday party. No way can there be children up that high having a party! It sounds just like a bunch of kids laughing

PinkkarrListener Turned GuedtSo easy to talk to. I loved his openness even tho we came from two different worlds. Would definitely talk to him again!

ATXPodcastAddictOne of my fave paranormal podcastsBrings a lot of depth and in-the-field experiences to the conversation. I love how the host is always going out in the woods to listen and encounter!
-
zenyatta65Unique but Used to Be Much BetterIronically I was a patron at a bad time for the host and dropped it. The host and the show are unique but the format has changed so that only patrons get the best and most interesting episodes which feature original research. Regular listeners are served interviews with others and they are not all worthwhile. Of course patrons deserve special shows but they seem to not care about other listeners or building their show and I’m tuning in less and less
-
btykodiThe Minotaur episodeI love this podcast, but now I am disillusioned. As a genealogist, this episodes facts were just blatantly incorrect. The story teller tries to indicate that they did historical research, but their conclusions are so clearly erroneous it’s hard to believe any research was really done ☹️

forme2COverall a Good ShowUsually a good show with good stories. Likable hosts but please stop the medieval minstrels music - not a fan. Is anyone? The anticipation of it starting becomes an anxiety filled a race to turn it off before it starts….
-
DigiXSpectreStill good, but…Tim seems to be bored with the topic lately. I understand, doing something for as long as he has, and trying to remain consistent can result in burn out. Or maybe there’s just a lull in the phenomenon in general at the moment. Seems like there hasn’t been much “weird” floating around the past few months. I’ve tried to branch out to other shows covering the topic, but I can’t seem to find one with the same care and attention Tim has shown the topic in the past. Which is unfortunate. I suppose it’s time to find my own rabbit hole to fill the void of strangeness in my life at the moment!
-
Haylo (Hayley)Not your average strangenessI love this show because it’s different. The way Tim approaches questions to further give details on encounters is wonderfully done. He is gentle, accepting and makes a safe environment for this community to share their experiences while bringing comfort to the rest of us, knowing we are not alone.

TravelinGolferTop Notch ShowGreat show to listen to stories, history, lore and legend. Tim and Alison really puts the effort in to research and learn about the things they speak to and he has a great interview style that’s not too leading but more recording of the experience without trying to insert himself in the narrative. Keep up the great work.
-
NYoung11ExcellentThis podcast is awesome!!! Love the conversations with regular folks. I grew up in Western PA, love the PA stuff 🥰 Had no idea there was so much going on in the state, but then again not really surprising. Highly recommend!

Katey FSpooky, spiritual, soothingThis is one of my absolute favorite podcasts of all time. Host Timothy has a calm and soothing voice, great for listening at work or bedtime. Or anytime! His wife Alison comes on regularly and their banter is really funny and interesting. They are excellent researchers who put out very unique and thoughtful content, it’s not really comparable to any other paranormal type podcast. The best of the best episodes are with recurring guest Brother Richard, an Irish Franciscan monk. His off the cuff lectures about topics ranging from Irish fairy folklore to the legend of St Francis, and many other theological, spiritual, or supernatural topics are worth re-listening to. Regular topics include Sasquatch, UFOs, mysterious lights, ghosts, hermits, and Pennsylvania folklore. Extremely worth listening to a few episodes if you have any interest in spiritual and supernatural topics.
-
fjifhvfLove the show- and Brother Richard’s words are a gift!*****Update***** - I started listening in Dec 2021 and have loved the podcast ever since. I am now catching up with the older episodes, and listening to 179 right now. ALISON : I will buy a feminist bigfoot book if you write it!! Original review: Love the bigfoot episodes (how I found the podcast) but Brother Richard episodes are so incredibly special. The story of returning the West African artifacts and seeing an image of the peaceful children spirits; his stories of respecting the spirits of nature in celtic tradition still practiced today, and his wonderful way of reminding us that all that is good - even when outside our own traditions - is of God, is exactly what a faith leader should be.
-
KarpenoctemVery enjoyableMaybe it's the fact that, unbeknowst to me, this podcast turned out to be based in my home county and tells many stories about my own stomping grounds that I didn't know...but this podcast is a ton of fun. I've just recently started, but I'm truly enjoying it. If you have the slighest interest in things spooky or paranormal - give it a listen.

rfoiygEpisode 372, ughI couldn’t listen to that ditzy immature girl for one more minute. I made it to needing a flashlight because UDOT paved the road. How annoying she was talking so slow making sure to pronounce and giggle every single letter of each word while thinking herself to be so entertaining and funny. Her voice is like nails on a chaulkboard

DJ1111AngelsLoved the Angels episode with Brother Richard.
-
LSheltiniFriends for lifeI feel like I’ve known them my whole life. This type of storytelling is always what I’ve been interested in, but it’s taken me years to discover this type of content via a good, high quality podcast. I hope all is well for them and keep them coming!

patd2foxfireFascinating and intelligentEvery show is interesting, thoughtful and informative. Love the many topics covered, with open-minded questions and acceptance. I especially loved the recent shows on Fatima, and look forward to additional exploration of the Marian mysteries!

camposthedogGreat show but could use a bit of editingI love this podcast. I really appreciate the host giving this platform to real, everyday people to just tell their story. He’s so genuinely interested too. Many other paranormal podcasts annoy me because the host are cracking jokes the whole time. My only gripe is that some editing would help a lot. While it’s definitely refreshing to hear the guests tell their stories totally unfiltered, some of them aren’t the best speakers and have a tendency to repeat themselves over and over or go on tangents. It makes listening kind of a chore sometimes. I’m not even talking about episode length, the longer the better. Just keep the stories on point please. Anyway, in general this podcast is really fantastic. I love the intimacy and the way they take the subject seriously.
-
NativeTexicanLove These Stories!I love the old historical stories even if they’re not about the paranormal. I also like the interviews with people with interesting stories. Your BEST show ever was 316 The Foundling with Diane! Riddle me this y’all…How can y’all ever possibly top that one?! Keep ‘em coming, love it.

Jurassic MarkI love this show!A great podcast that covers paranormal topics, folklore, and interesting history. Two wonderful hosts with a great dynamic and recurring guests that never disappoint. A show that asks the important questions. How do the monastic view these phenomena? Are deer the new owls? Just when is it okay to wear yellow camo?
-
StevenHorribleGreat guest, great hostI love the the different stories and accounts. The variety is refreshing.

Paul in PensacolaI’m a fan!I truly enjoy listening to Tim and Alison (she is always super witty!) These two bring a new perspective to each topic with their incredible research and passion. This is an intriguing show and my favorite when I need to relax… I fall asleep to their old shows… like old friends! Riddle me this… listen and you’ll get the reference 😂
-
Rob OsbornOne of my top podcasts!I love Tim and Alison. They are such a cool and interesting couple. The best thing about the hosts and podcast is that you feel like Tim and Alison are relating to the listeners on a personal level, like we are all sitting around a campfire chatting. I truly appreciate both Tim and Alison and am not ashamed to say that my days/weeks are more enriched because of them.
-
larushkaHookedI can’t remember if I had written a review for SF before, I know I wanted to, so just in case I never got around to doing it or in case I wasn’t clear enough on just how much I love this podcast, here goes another (or maybe the first) review. Tim and Allison are amazing together, Their voices are nice and soothing and remind me of warm cozy winter days (which I love), all the episodes are so different and I truly enjoy how Tim asks the questions I would , the on-site episodes (cicadas or not) are awesome. I am always in awe of how much Tim and Allison do, what with answering emails, and social media, managing the Etsy shop, curating photographs, making music, all the art work and putting out at least a show per week, Just wow! Have been listening for a few years and plan to do so always. Love your content, love your music, love you both. Suscribe people!!!!
-
VentradreaFavorite PodcastI listen to a lot of different paranormal/Bigfoot podcasts, the more mainstream as well. I stumbled on this one from Sasquatch Chronicles, so glad I did! I love that it’s a diff format each episode or every other…keeps it fresh. Love the on sight episodes. The music also grew on me, it took a little minute just because it’s not a genre I would listen to otherwise. But I love how committed Tim is to the podcast and the extra Patreon episodes are fantastic. I love Tim’s voice it’s so soothing, and Allison adds the kind of humor and wit I enjoy. They’re just great, so multi-talented…I could listen to them talk about anything all day to be honest lol. I’m constantly on their Etsy store, I just can’t get enough. It really is unlike the rest, it keeps me sane.

xxxzxzxx 743HuhContrived uninteresting anecdotes by supernatural dorks who can’t get laid to save their souls, you gotta know when to pull the plug on an interview but these folks just let her rip. I’m sorry but It was bad, please try harder

reviewer74698653Distracting One Sided CommentaryAn entertaining podcast, sometimes with one sided commentary regarding events or people in the history of the US. As is the case often today, events and actions are viewed with a lens in today’s terms and not in the times in which they occurred. In Episode 241 a commentary remark “the evils of capitalism run amok” is made without factual support and is superfluous to the story. Another remark about W A Clark and his corrupt political actions are referred to as “this is so American and shady”. So American? How so? Americans have the monopoly on corrupt politicians? Hardly. At least a dozen banana republics and every major country on the world stage have politicians that use bribery and manipulation to get power. It’s hardly a trait that may be typically attributed to “Americans” as implied by the remark “so American”. The sophomoric trend to casually bash the US and view its history with an academic’s one sided lens is getting old and trite. It definitely takes away from the story telling.

Dominic #3From a skeptics perspectiveI started listening to paranormal shows (coast) for the same reason people go to the zoo, to be entertained by the odd and unfamiliar. I still don’t believe most of this stuff but man, I really enjoy this podcast. It is a laidback session of late night talk that’s reminiscent of telling ghost stories in my middleschool years. Tim and Alison have great chemistry and I must say, Tim’s a talented dude. His artwork, writing, and music are all stellar. Keep at it Strange Familiar
-
Bryzness ManFlannel ManThis was a good show at the outset and Tim rode Seriah’s coattails to get a decent sized audience but the stories have gotten way far out and ridiculous as time has passed. There’s no way there’s any type of vetting process at this point. I respect paranormal podcasts that have a skeptic around to balance the woo-woo, flannel man? In Tim’s world the truth is completely objective. Just label it as fiction and be done with it Tim.
