karynjvGreat for early childhood people!I love listening to this podcast and look forward to each episode! I learn a lot and have fun listening too!

Ommax3These Nerds Know Their StuffThe Early Childhood Nerd, Heather, and her friends read the research and have the best interest of children Birth to 8 (really all) at heart. The information isn’t just an opinion, it’s based is carefully researched information about best practice in the care of children during early childhood. This isn’t the podcast for those of you looking for cutesy crafts, but those who want to care for children the best way possible….pay heed to these nerds! Mary Anne, ECE FROM Nebraska

Zen and ECEECE Heaven! If you’re an early childhood professional, this is the podcast (and videocast) you’re gonna love! Heather is a great, insightful facilitator, with always interesting and relevant guests to discuss the challenges and successes of working with young children and their families. Highly recommend!
-
stacey_vlWho Gets to DecideI appreciate this episode so much. I am hoping to do doctoral work on this topic, and was so gratified to hear you talking about it. You articulated the issues so well, it really pushed my thinking.

railrhoadesI want to be a nerdThis is my very favorite pod, and please never EVER eat chips while recording again.

Rebecca WeinerPowerful paradigm shiftThat Early Childhood Nerd is my go-to resource for challenging assumptions, shifting paradigms, and realigning practice in early childhood education. I feel so inspired, affirmed, and empowered every time I listen!

MmkkfgAwesome show! This is my absolute favorite podcast! I love the topic selection and how the host and guest(s) go about it’s discussion. It’s a fresh way of looking at different perspectives through their vast experiences and funds of knowledge. I learn so much from them and it’s invigorating each time I listen. I often recommend it to my teacher candidates and will be assigning some episodes in the future. Bravo for a job well done!
-
Caitlin ECEExplicit Rating?Great topics and enjoy the podcast but could do without the swearing. I find it funny that a podcast focused on early childhood education would have an “explicit” rating.
-
piggypuggleInsightful PodcastI love this podcast it has opened the doors to terrific new books to add to my reading list and I have been introduced to a wealth of new voices in ECE.

Emerson2468Fun and educationalThis was a great episode. I am graduating in December and I start working as a two year old teacher next week. I am so excited. I’m all about teaching my children love for themselves and for other human beings. Human kindness is one of my biggest goals. Listening to you two makes me even more excited. Thank you!

GossamerPinkVery good topics, very boring implementationThe podcast is very informative. They tackle very relevant issues and discuss articles. While I learn a lot from the podcast, I struggle finishing an episode because for some reason, the host is boring. She also does not come across as confident about what she says she believes, although I think it’s just a personality thing. I do enjoy it immensely when she invites engaging speakers. I would, however, rather listen to the podcasts of her guests than her, unfortunately. That said, this podcast is still a good resource to find information on good books or resources.
-
TBoneStoneSo glad I found this!I’ve started having the teachers at my preschool listen and discuss!
-
AJBaguelLOVE!!!I think I listened to every podcast this summer before going back to work. Not only have I been listening, but I told my boss about this podcast and she had us listen to one episode and discuss. I feel I’m becoming a better teacher because of this podcast. Despite funky sound issues on a few episodes, it’s worth listening every time.
-
bmogeePodcast soundThis would be a better podcast if you worked on the volume. You’re voice is so loud but guest speakers are muffled.
-
