    Laid back and interesting
I love the laid back nature of this podcast and the interactions between the hosts. Interesting guests and topics keep me listening. I appreciate that you guys do some audio editing so that the volume is fairly consistent among all of you and your guests' streams. The applause track is a bit cheasy but it's fine. Probably my favorite weather podcast .

The right mix of science and entertainment
I thoroughly enjoy this podcast. I’m a “weather enthusiast” with a limited science background. I have learned so much by listening during my morning and evening commutes, and have had lots of laughs in the process. I highly recommend The Freaks!

    Entertaining and Insightful
I began listening to the Freaks podcast a month prior to this review - starting at episode one and now just catching up to the current episode (36). ‘Binge-listening’ allows me to say that the show has definitely grown in both entertainment value along with guest quality. One minor tidbit in my personal opinion is that some episodes contain a high number of corporate ‘plugs’. Sometimes I forgot I wasn’t actually listening to a infomercial. The latest couple of episodes haven’t been nearly as bad in that regard. I’ve rated the ‘Freaks’ a 4/5 and would have given a 5 if not for the excessive amount of corporate plugs. Average weather weenies along with more experienced weather folks will enjoy this podcast with quality content mixed in with humors

Is this a beer podcast or what?
Got really tired of listening to them talk about what they are drinking. Too much time spent in introductory chat.

Feels just like hanging out with pals
So after listening to several episodes while I was at work the past few weeks, I guess I will write a review now. I appreciate the structure the podcasts go in with the small segments of pure learning mixed with fun conversations. This definitely feels like I'm hanging out with friends having a good time. My biggest gripe is that sometimes when going through the weather resources I have no idea how to spell the names of websites and apps. It would be very appreciated if you could spell it out for the podcast listeners who can't see screens. :) I don't have a twitter so no need to send me anything. Thanks for including us listeners for the ride!

    Good stuff!
Fun and informative, I'm a trained weather spotter and always trying to learn new things. This podcast is always part of that! @candyman1327

That was fun and learned something
These guys made weather stuff fun! Entertaining and funny variety of weather people. I also like that they tend to explain things (most times) instead of assuming I already know all the weather terms. Fun "game shows" played with their guests!

A great learning experience for a new weather enthusiast
I absolutely love this podcast. I have never really gotten into podcasts or knew what they were until I was on Twitter and saw this being retweeted by my good friend Quincy Vagell. I immediately subscribed and have listened to every episode, take notes, and learn so much. I would definitely recommend listening to it in the car, or just at home in bed like I do with a notebook in hand. Weather to me has always been something I love, and if you love to learn, and enjoy listening about severe storms, storm chasing, or just about anything weather, then listen to this! It's informative, and you will laugh at some of the jokes, I sure have! Definitely highly recommended. I would give more stars if I could! Awesome job everyone!

    Hooked from the start.
I've always been interested in weather. This group has a great mix of entertainment, stories, and educational material that I'm going to be a long time listener. In the first two shows I feel I have a better understanding of how thunderstorms form, how tv forecasting happens including behind-the-scenes issues explaining why there is so much hype before we get that big 1.5" snow storm!! Great work on this to the group, and I look forward to learning much more about a wide variety of aspects surrounding storms, weather and the people studying it.
