621 took me to my knees
I’ve never heard a name put to my fugue state.. The first year it hit, up until this very moment, ive been frantically convinced something systemic, like Inflamation happening because it feels like the flu, you cant think thoughts, its in your muscles. Everyday I ran the clock. That’s all I could say, I’m just running the clock.

    It all finally makes sense
The first time I listened to Terri it was about HFC and it felt like my eyes were finally open to why I have had trouble with relationships in the past. The insight and tips to get into recovery from being an HFC has changed my life and it will change yours too!

    Practical, Relevant, and Accessible Therapy
I love this show! It is so interesting and easy to apply to real life. The situations apply so well to me as well as the people I see in my life—smart and capable women trying to do everything. I have learned so much and find all her guests intriguing and relevant.

    Recovering HFC here!
I learned I’m a recovering High Functioning Codependent from this podcast! I identified A LOT with Terri’s personal stories and personal relationship lessons when I first started listening to this podcast. At first I wanted to reject what Terri was saying (out of my own shame), but when I finally started accepting the truth, I set myself free (and everyone else). Thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing this topic to light! -Gina

Be a little more thoughtful about abuse
I’ve been listening for years and love the show, however the claims by the guest in the most recent episode that the upticks in parental estrangement recently by adults is caused by TikTok and irresponsible therapists who are convincing patients to ‘accuse’ their parents of abuse are borderline offensive. Estrangement is not a choice that anyone takes lightly, especially when there is emotional abuse rather than physical. Emotional abuse is very real, and if you’ve been through it you know exactly what it is. I’ve been through both with my parents but was only able to feel solid about my decision to estrange because the physical abuse gives me a ‘pass’ to do so. The idea that a person doesn’t know for themselves if they’ve been abused in my experience has come from self serving lines of thinking by professionals who are not truly listening or putting themselves in the shoes of survivors.

I’ve been listening to Terri for years, and I greatly appreciate her! Anyone can find value in her content. She is a true professional, brilliant, but also isn’t afraid to share her own very real experiences with being human. I couldn’t recommend more!

This review is waaaaay overdue, but wow; I am so grateful to have found Terri’s podcast and to have read her book, boundary boss! As a recovering people pleaser, I love how clear, actionable, and accessible Terri’s content is, whether through her show, the amazing tools she makes available for FREE (how rare!), and her published works. Thank you Terri, for helping me be a stronger advocate and more powerful and authentic version of me! You’re the best! -Alexa G

    The guidance I've always Needed!!
I found Terri through Instagram and I was hooked. Her book (The Boundary Boss) got me through the separation of my baby's father and to gain so much self love and confidence. I listen to her every morning.. to work.. and going back home. She's my replacement for music!! I'm so young (21) and have had so much trauma in my life. You are the maternal figure I've needed.. you have an episode for everything I need guidance in. THANK YOU ❤️❤️

    Boundary Boss - WOW
Have read and reread Boundary Boss, listening or watching your weekly podcast for many months. Thank you for helping me to finally express my feelings and boundaries with a person who has been trampling them for years. Have been carrying this resentment for such a long time. It certainly lightened my negative emotion load. Thank you! Looking forward to The Boundary Boss Workbook release!

    A calming and validating voice
Teri Cole and her voice has made me feel validated. The way she organizes the complex topics of behavior, mental health, relationships is practical for anyone to understand. I have found myself in many of the topics discussed and never really had the words. She provides healing education and guidance for anyone to better understand themselves.

Dear Terri, Your podcasts have been absolutely insightful to me. I am divorced after 17years of marriage and haven been single now for almost 3 years. I know that I need to find a therapist but I haven’t been able to find a match.

    Just Wow.
Hi Terri, I have been a long time listener and read your book back when it first came out. It has truly changed my life in so many ways; my relationships with my friends and family in particular have become much healthier and I believe it is from having healthier boundaries. I just listened to your latest episode and hearing your story about your sister brought me to tears. I recently and I do mean very recently (2 weeks ago) had to write a very painful text to my sister who is not ready to face her addiction. Your words were almost exact to what I told her in regards to I will be there when you’re ready. I have been feeling guilt and regret ever since I sent that text to her but telling myself “I worked too hard for my peace” like your therapist said to you. I literally got goosebumps and cried hearing your story so similar to mine. I am beyond happy for your sister and her happy ending and have faith my sister will get there too one day. It is so painful seeing someone you love not take care of themselves and my prayers are with anyone experiencing this. Thank you for sharing your story and being so open because I dont feel so alone and much of my guilt went away hearing your words. You are truly changing lives and I appreciate learning from you. Many Blessings ~ CJ

    I was a follower and fan until…
Todays Horoscope episode. Terri always talks about how we are responsible for our life and I’ve really been inspired by her. But if she believes in horoscopes, then if the stars or planets determine our life, why bother? I trusted her advice and common sense and I purchased her most recent webinar on communication, but am Now questioning how sound her advice is, if she believes in trusting horoscopes.

    Epistemic transcendence
Terry Cole is a woman who inspires me every day to become the highest version of myself. Her book, boundary boss, and her podcast is a game changer for women to achieve or get on the path towards their subjective liberation. As an empath, I was struggling with absorbing so much of others energy, and not understanding the power of boundaries that I was left quite baffled and frustrated at myself. However, after reading her book, and listening to numerous episodes of her sublime podcast, my life has started to turn and change in ways that, I intellectually knew were possible but had trouble feeling to my core. It turns out that missing piece was boundaries. Thank you with all my heart, soul, mind, and spirit Terri. I genuinely would not be in the position I am in now without your help. You inspire me to become a better woman every day. 💛🪷❤️‍🔥

Light at the end of the tunnel!!!
Dearest Terri, Thank you so incredibly much for your words of profound wisdom, compassion, and strength. I heard about you through a friend and listened to your book Boundary Boss. What you have written in your book was exactly what I had needed to hear when I was almost not functioning because of the deep seeded, dark stress. You have helped me realize I have had codependent tendencies my entire life: I just didn’t know other people really did. I now move forward realizing that my own power has been within me all along, I just didn’t know how to bridle my emotions enough to apply them willfully and effectively. I tell everyone I can about you. ‘Thank you’ will never cut it, you have my gratitude always. Love, Stephanie in Sausalito, CA

I love this podcast. Terri, you are amazing. Boundaries, or lack there of have been a huuuuuge missing price in my life. I definitely did not grow up with any kind of language or any awareness around this. But I can have identify all of the destructive consequences of having dysfunctional boundaries in my life. Outstanding podcast!
I can't give enough praise for the life altering information and love that Terri so generously shares with the world! Listening to her shows and participating in her online challenges have changed my life profoundly for the better. I was raised to be a straight up COdependant, and my life was full of dissppoimtment and hurt as a result. One broken relationship after the next, I eventually went to CODA for help. But it wasn't until I found Terri Cole and the wisdom that she shares about boundaries, that I learned how & why to take care of myself better and without guilt, that I experienced true happiness in my life. THANK YOU TERRI!

    My best accidental find!
I found your podcast on accident while I was looking for something to help a friend of mine- let me just say it’s the best accident I’ve ever had! I have listened to your podcasts daily for 8 months and I now affectionately refer to you as “my therapist Terri” when I’m doing my emotional support duties to my friends. I have referred you to all of my friends, my mother and even a patient of mine. I am a recovering people pleaser, divorced, single mother, halfway healed, rehabilitated narcissistic victim, and depleted empath - my healing journey has been cyclical to say the least. Every time I hear the title to one of your podcast and think, “oh this won’t apply to me” but two minutes in I am saying OH WOW IT DOES. Thank you for all you do, how you do it, and for making it accessible for those of us or don’t have time or finances for weekly therapy sessions. You are deeply appreciated ❤️ - Natalie

    Always calming and helpful
Terri is like listening to that one friend that calms you. Reminds you that you are not crazy just human. Terri shares her past and growth. Holds you accountable for your behavior but also allows for self grace and growth. I am always looking for the next episode. I am thankful that I found her podcast as it has helped me grow, understand and. Set boundaries. Thank you Terri for this podcast. It has helped me understand me, my family and to move forward during negative moments and not to own it all.

    Can you fix your ads?
I love the content of this podcast- but please if you can- please find a way to regulate the volume of your ads. Your advertisements are way louder than your content which makes for a very unpleasant listening experience. I would listen to it more if I didn’t get startled. Your ads also come mid sentence so its hard to even prep for the fact that it’s about to get very loud in my ears. Can you help us sensitive folks out? Thank you!! Otherwise love it.

    Terri speaks to my core
I heard Terri as a guest on another podcast and have been listening ever since. I have read her Boundary Boss book twice. What makes her so effective is her foundation knowledge from a background of education and understanding human behavior, plus her lived experience and authenticity with having grown up in a household where boundaries were often crossed and not always respected. Often when I listen to one of her podcasts she really makes me believe in my own strength through harnessing a sense of awareness and learning. She gives me courage by helping me understand that things take practice, and hence I can develop better boundaries. I hope to be able to find the time to attend one of her courses one day. Thank you 🙏🏻

    Life-Changing - a wonderful podcast!
Thank you Terri Cole for the thought and care that you put into your work. I found your podcast after I read “Boundary Boss”, and have been listening ever since. I feel that I came across your work at the right time in my life, because what I have read and listened to is truly life changing. I’m about to turn 30, have been on one heck of a wild ride these past couple of years, and finally feel that I am stepping into my true and authentic self. With your support and guidance I am able to see my codependent tendencies, my inability to set healthy boundaries, and look at my childhood through a more discerning lens. I’m learning a lot about myself and am able to apply so many strategies that you share to help better my relationship to myself and my relationships with others. Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Good morning! I cannot express how your shows have already impacted me in my day to day life. I wish I could let you know what I have been through for you to completely understand what I mean. I am so incredibly happy I have come across your podcast, as there are so many ah-ha moments and you are pinpointing exactly what I NEED to hear and start to adjust myself for healthy living/relationships. I am currently reading your book and have downloaded most of your content on your website. Thank you again and you are so incredible!!

    Helpful Wisdom
I’ve begun reading Terri’s book and listening to her Podcast. I really appreciate how she starts with where you are and creates relatable ways to reflect on my relationships. She also does a great job of modeling healthy communication with her guests. Taking the boundary quiz on her website was very illuminating. Thank you so much for breaking down complex feelings and ways of being in the world into a way of understanding that is helping me grow.

    Game Changer
This review is long overdue as I have been listener for several years now. Terri helped me through a dark time in my life. Through her guidance I was able to leave a narcissistic relationship and start healing. If you haven’t read her book Boundary Boss you must immediately! My personal and work relationships have all improved because of her. From a 25 year old codependent to a 30 year old boundary boss! Terri is the wise aunt I never had but always wanted. Thank you Terri! - Heather B.

    I love Terri Cole’s Insight!
I came across this podcast as referenced thru the breakup bestie podcast. On her recent episode there, I really resonated with everything she said. I loved her voice, knowledge, stories, wisdom, perspective, love for other humans, through and through. It was so soothing and resonating. Listened right away to dozens of episodes…. I am so grateful! Saying this with humility and grace: The only thing is the editing is a little jarring and loud- the music and ads seem non sequitur and sometimes throw me off during how engaged I am / want to be with the stories; but it’s all good I will still listen. Thanks so much for the content it means a lot to me. .:.

    Terry is the best!!
Terry really has taught me so much about boundries. She is no non-sense kind of person and I love how direct she is. She is someone I aspire to be like. Thanks for all your time and dedication to helping people!

    Worth a listen:)
I first came across Terri Cole through Dr. shefali’s parenting mastery summit. I am not a parent but I do come from an emotionally immature family and want to educate myself enough for when I do decide to have children and not pass down my own traumas. Terri Cole’s topic on boundaries was mind blowing and interesting especially when boundaries have been nonexistent in my family. Currently my favorite podcast. I purchased “Boundary Boss” and it’s definitely a page-turner. If you’re looking to set healthy boundaries you are in the right place.
