Shah Rukh Khan: Advice for Life

Shah Rukh Khan (SRK), also known as the “King of Bollywood,” came to Yale on April 12, 2012 as a Chubb Fellow in his first visit to an American university. The Chubb Fellowship is one of Yale's most distinguished honors, bringing leaders to campus to encourage students interested in public service and the public good. In his Chubb Lecture, SRK shared advice with his audience that, he said, would help them “survive this life.”

These official videos feature his full lecture, as well as a conversation by SRK with Master Jeffrey Brenzel of Timothy Dwight College, Yale Law School student Nikhil Sud '10, Law'13, and Sarika Arya '11; and a performance of his trademark "Chammak Challo" with Yale sophomore Natalia Khosla '14. Shah Rukh Khan is introduced by Isha Ambani '13, president of the Yale South Asian Society, a co-sponsor of the event along with the Chubb Fellowship of Timothy Dwight College.

    One of the Best
Haven't watched much Bollywood- but this is easily the BEST speech I have seen. How to survive Life- is a funny and brilliant but informative speech by the worlds' most recognizable movie star. His down to earth demeanor seals the deal!

Thanks to SRK and to iTunes!
I am a long-time American fan of Shah Rukh Kahn and am always excited to be able to listen to him speak outside of his film roles. So far, I've listened to a portion of this "Advice for Life" and find that it contains words of value, so look forward to listening to the rest after downloading. As the young lady introducing Shah Rukh Khan said, he reigns over many, many hearts, and I'm no exception. It's easy to harbor an affection for an actor who is so genuinely warm and human in his humble approach to his legions of fans around the world. Thank you iTunes! And especially, thank you Shah Rukh Khan, for once again putting up with our airport personnel here in the States!

    Job well done Mr.Khan
As MIT and Harvard working towards establishing EDX and ITUNE U is focusing towards online education, the first thing pops from Yale in ITUNEU is SRK's visit and speak at Yale. It is truly encouraging and motivating. All we could see is Mr.Khan's love for his family / children as a loving and caring dad. Thank you for your words Mr.Khan. Jack
