I’ve listened since the beginning and I’ve always loved these ladies! My issue is with the new format….you go into ads (which I get…you need the revenue) but there’s literally 5 minutes of ads then you don’t intro into the show with music or some other cue. It’s like you NEED us to listen to the ads. It’s a bit much. I listen to various other podcasts and when they do an ad break it’s clear and it’s clear when it ends. Yours just seems to try to seamlessly go back into the podcast. It’s weird and frustrating. This is coming from a long time listener who truly enjoys the podcast!

I’ve noticed a recent pull back in frank discussion of feminist topics. At the same time, I’ve noticed an uptick in regressive content and sponsorship deals. I’m truthfully frightened about this podcast normalizing tradwife-lite TikTok content, featuring ads for elective cosmetic procedures like liposuction, and recently calling neurodivergence into question. It pains me to hit unsubscribe after previously getting so much from this podcast. I hope June and Jessica can get back to informative and empowering content. Once that happens, I’ll jump back into listening.

But if someone has to work a gig job like doordash I think they deserve tbh a liiittle more sympathy and if they missed an item you can just get an automatic refund through the app and reorder. 5 stars tho fr

I love Jessica and June and they bring me so much comfort, but the denial of Palestine in several episodes has been incredibly disappointing. To speak of devastation and not even acknowledge Palestine as a country/people is a very white feminist move. I hope they both can learn and grow on this issue as time goes on.

The hosts of this show mentioned Ukraine but in the same breath did not mention the genocide happening in Palestine. One of the hosts speaks about being Jewish but not one word about Palestine. Everyone is too afraid to say anything about it!

This podcast is about two women suffering from symptoms of long covid and I love listening to it.

What could be more delightful or curing than the belly laughs these friends deliver about life as grown up women. Listening feels like being included in their friend group.

I love these comedians in other formats, but when I got to this podcast and heard its focus on how science isn’t to be taken that seriously if it conflicts with scams like psychics or other very rich white lady LA woo woo nonsense about spirits and cleansing, I realized it’s something different entirely, and that something is not at all good. Sadly learning about this makes me think about them differently.

i LOVE this podcast! i was late to the deep dive gang, and i started a couple months ago. i'm almost caught up already because these women are hilarious and insightful! my only complaint: LEMONADA, STOP ADVERTISING SARAH SILVERMANS PODCAST. she's a disgusting racist and doesn't belong in the line up with all of these incredibly talented women. seriously imagine playing a sarah silverman ad right after a julia louis dreyfus ad... BE SO FOR REAL

Refreshing, tasty and a reliable quencher. I happen to love this podcast and these podcasters. Friendship on full display. They make me laugh, and that is no easy task. Keep up the good work! I am a freshman at the academy, and still have to share a locker. Waiting for those glorious upper classwoman years, when I can park in the school lot and leave at lunch.

I don’t listen because I agree with them on major issues (although I think their hearts are generally in the right place), but the Kamala stuff is just too much. “I’m speaking” she said over victims of genocide and I am supposed to “yas queen” that? Why do we feel so comfortable glossing over a holocaust? Don’t speak about politics if you don’t want to be judged for them. Pro-Palestine women got re-elected, wonder what the real reason is that Harris lost so miserably. If you have very basic politics and don’t mind hearing uninformed opinions, then this show is genuinely cute sometimes. Just my issue, but I can’t think of them the same way girl bossing over the lives of oppressed Palestinians. One contradiction too many for me.

I usually find you both funny but not lately. It’s disappointing that you have this platform to use for good, like uniting the Country - but instead you prove why Kamala lost, by continuing to divide. You have listeners that didn’t vote like you and you go on and on bashing us, people you never met. THIS is one of the reasons she lost, NOT because she is a woman!!! Open your eyes and get out of your Hollywood bubble and see what us “normal” Americans deal with everyday to understand why the election was a landslide. And stop instilling fear into your children about the next 4 years, that is terrible.

Edited my 5 star rating. I loved this show. It’s become a bit harder to listen to lately. Being “unrelatable” is fine but having disregard and disrespect for us “normal people” is not funny. I had to cancel my Academy membership. If the show was just Jessica I would still listen.

I’ve listened to this show for several years. I started listening and went back and listened to the entire back catalog. This podcast is one of the highlights of my week. I listen to many podcasts, many of which (not this one) remind listeners how helpful it is to leave a review. I have NEVER written a single review of any beloved podcast, UNTIL TODAY. I had to “pause the pod” to say that I have never loved June more than when she stood up for all of us against the tyranny of confirmation texts. Completely tone deaf and shrill conversations about the most mundane aspects of life. Stop blaming everything on your menstrual cycle. June’s hushed-tone vocal fry “wow” is the response to most of Jessica’s comments/observations, and is so affected and contrived, I wonder how she is able to make any genuine connections with other human beings. Neither woman lets their guest gets a word in edgewise. Listen to some real interviewers (Marc Markn, Terry Gross) and take notes.

I love these ladies! This show has saved me! When I swore off news on Oct 7th, I needed something new. I’m hooked! Update: I just saw some of the terrible reviews and I’m SHOCKED. Ok, half of them are dumb GOP/conservatives and the other keep referring to racism and white lady this or that. What???? Seriously guys - for this podcast just focus on the 5 stars because you’ll definitely understand what side is which 1 star = GOP, 4 or 5 star = normal peeps.

Honestly, you just made every mother feel sane, heard & vindicated. Between laughing out-loud in public & wanting to hug you & tell you how unfair our past trauma affects all of our lives.

June and Jessica have become such an important part of my week as I get to hear them traverse a myriad of silly and serious topics relatable to women of any age. As a new mom, there are a lot of identity crises and hearing my deep dive ladies discuss the beautiful and harrowing journey of womanhood has made me excited to access new levels of my identity with grace.

So I know I’m like two years behind on this conversation … I just caught up on HDTGM after listening to it nonstop since last year and then found out Deep Dive podcast existed … but I want MORE pickleball discussions. Why would anyone want it banned from speaking its name?? All I want is weekly recaps of the tournaments and how Gus and Casey faired. That’s all I want.
