I’m not super big into podcasts at this time. However, I look forward to kirking off each week. Dean and Nate are absolutely hilarious. That’s not all! There is impactful and insightful discussions about the episodes that made me go right back through all the series. I often find myself looking at things in a different light. (Although sometimes I will be chuckling at a joke) it’s great to experience it again after listening to these guys!! Great job at opening the door of podcasts for me. I look forward to experiencing the next episodes. Beam me up dean and Nate. I’m here for the long haul!

Sometimes philosophicial, often crass, and always hilarious, this show is a delight for Star Trek veterans and newcomers alike. Even if I had a holodeck, I'd rather Kirk Off listening to Dean and Nate any day.

Being a casual Star Trek fan in my youth and being tired of the giant corporate podcasts I’d been listening to lead me to Kirking off. My sick sense of humor had me chuckling at the title. Once I Kirk off I had to Kirk off again and now I find myself hopelessly addicted waiting to Kirk off each week. Dean and Nathan have an excellent rapport with each other. This mixed with there humor give the listener a fun yet thought provoking jaunt through the Star Trek Universe.

A must for any open minded star trek fan! Awesome job done by Dean and Nate love the show keep it up!

I've always said LSG Media podcasts are the conversations you want to have when you don't have anyone to converse with. They always cover the topics I'm either thinking about or screaming to myself while watching the show or movie. Well, Kirking Off by LSG Media is that conversation you DIDN'T know you wanted to have, but, after listening to Dean and Nathan, its blantantly clear you needed to. Their unique perspective and insight is deep and thought-provoking, hidden within their sick, twisted, totally perfect humor. I love the structure, unhindered by your typical linear timeline with both show and episode. They are allowed to journey where ever the Subspace currents take them. From TNG to DS9 to Voyager and beyond. Nothing is safe or sacred and I would't want it another other way now. If you want a completely new take on our beloved Star Trek, one that separates itself from every-other-Star-Trek-podcast out there, you've found it.

So far everything I've heard from LSG media is great, and this show is no exception! Dean and Nate are insighful and quick-witted and are simply fun to listen to. I love how they brought in references to Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and Monty Python on the last episode... they're speaking my language! I was never really a Star Trek guy, but I have started watching the episodes that are covered in the podcast just to laugh along with Dean and Nate as they review it. I hope they keep putting out great shows like this for a long time to come.

Dean’s unapologetic love for Star Trek could not be contained so he started another Podcast. By god I am F@%#ing thankful that he did. Dean and Nathan’s knowledgeable insight combined with their warped sense of humor and affection for the series is undoubtedly entertaining and has renewed my already intense fandom for Trek. This podcast is a celebration not only for the revolutionary TV series with its social political commentary, memorable characters and ground breaking concepts but all that Goofy Trek SH$&% we all have to come to love. Podcasting about something as vast as Star Trek is a daunting task. However, Dean and Nathan have risen to the occasion and created something approachable for people new to Trek and engaging for long time fans. The premise is that they jump around between the various series and cover wide array of episodes. You won’t get bogged down with a years worth of episodes were Voyager is fighting the Kazon yet again. This is a light hearted romp sampling the best, sometimes goofiest, Star Trek has to offer. Let the Kirking Off begin!

Can’t get enough of the irreverent analysis of Trek episodes from over the years. I especially appreciate the attention good old Lt Barclay has received. Way to pick some of the best episodes so far! I really can’t wait until you guys address Janeway and Chakotay. I see a lot of gender swap parallels with President Roslin and Billy Adama... Look forward to many more episodes!! LSG Media podcasts are great, I’ve been a listener of their main feed The Lost Drive-In/SFFP for years so I gave this new offering a whirl. It’s glorious. So glad the old Tamulis Talks spawned a syndicated show with this level of amusement. I’ll be listening to Dean and Nathan talk and suddenly one of them will mention fascist Odo spacing Bajorans and I’ll snort/chuckle alone in my car. I usually give the radio a side-eye glance like “You...you got me there. Well played.” Thankfully I do not often have passengers to witness this. I’m mostly a Next Gen and the films guy but they made me want to watch Deep Space 9 and maybe give Enterprise and Voyager a look too. Highly recommend, great sound, great content, and you’ll be shouting “William Shatner” along with the Scofflaws in no time!

Ever wonder what it took to clean up the holodeck after Worf got done in there? Is beaming a man possessed by an evil entity into space the best solution? They may not give you the “real” answers, but Dean and Nate are going to make you laugh about it, and all things Star Trek. The secret sauce for this podcast is Dean and Nate’s friendship. They have such good chemistry together, know how to run with a bit, and their love of Trek is super evident. I highly recommend you come aboard the ship, and get Starfleet to prescribe a sex plant for what ails ya.

This podcast will WARP me & you in 2 ways. 1st-in the mind & 2nd- To Boldly go where I have never gone before….into the expanded Trek universe. Their commentary is hilarious and engaging, even if you have only a cursory knowledge of the series. I’m always rewinding back to listen to a funny comment just to laugh a second time. I’ve been eagerly anticipating the launch of this show for years. As a loyal LSG Media Illuminati member, I always secretly hoped Nate and Dean would take this show to the public and it finally happened! I am a pretty diehard Trek fan but the best part of this podcast are the tangents that happen that don’t necessarily have anything to do with the episode in question. If you like casual, relaxed, hilarious and irreverent discussion with naughty words, this podcast is for you.

Once again, Dean and LSG Media hit it out of the park with another instant hit to add to their already impressive catalog of podcast content. "Kirking Off" is a delve into the tasteful and classy world of Star Trek with the usual blue comedy and insightful critique that I've come to know to be the staple of the company's flavor. The fact that the show covers multiple series in the Star Trek universe only adds to the accessibility and welcomeness. Dean once again delivers, and cohost Nathan is a pleasant foil to our familiar host. "Kirking Off" is truly a welcome additition to my Favorites bar. I look foward to the next listen!

The LSG franchise has been prolific and excellent in all its permutations over the years. This addition is no exception. Two longtime friends poking fun at the lighter....... and sometimes much, much darker (looking at you Lt. Barclay....) side of Trek. The decision to cover all of the series in no particular order has freed these guys up to riff and free associate off of the ideas that Trek sparks in all of us. Whether you are looking for critical analysis or a laugh out loud pod, this covers all the bases. Okay, a little less analysis, but a very unique take on Trek that you won't find anywhere else.

I am not a die hard Star Trek watcher. I've seen a handful of episodes across all the series. That said, this podcast is EXCELLENT. I don't need all the info. I don't need a deep dive into the minutiae of every minute of an episode. It's Trek talk for the common man. The Dusty Rhodes of Trek podcasts, of you will. If you like Trek and have a good sense of humor, check this out. Dean and Nathan do excellent work on this show and I enjoy the conversation.

OK, this is not your typical Star Trek podcast. Dean and crew take quite a blue look at some of the most interesting episodes of Star Trek across all of the series incarnations. To say that Dean and Nathan have unusual perspectives would be a massive understatement. The dry wit and humor will keep you entertained. The (sometimes coarse) language will keep you on your edge if the family is around, so be warned! But, all in all, a massively entertaining venture!

You can tell the hosts are having a blast with this and you can’t help but have one right along with them. All Trek is up for grabs, so there’s something for everyone. Great job.
