Why does everyone have a podcast?

Pete’s guests and interview skills are phenomenal, as far his perspectives on the current challenges America faces. Always happy to tune in and listen.

Pete does a great job of interviewing people who I haven’t heard of or much of. Love hearing from different people. To all the one star reviews, why are you so mad? Lol like wow, you need a hug or some Jesus, sheesh.

A better idea: Guests interview Pete. I find that I really don’t care what Pete’s guests have to say, and Pete, as interviewer, ends up not sharing much. I’m unsubscribing.

Pete is the measured, calming, reasoned voice we need. So glad this podcast exists.

Pete is an excellent interviewer. The episodes with Barbara Lee, Glennon Doyle, and Reverend Barber are so so important

Pete’s podcast with David Hogg was among his best yet. I can envision a future David Hogg as a tenured professor back at Harvard or Vassar College (my ala mater), teaching social justice to our next generations, can’t you?

Great perspectives of divisive issues

Pete received my vote in the primaries here in TN and Im very glad he has a podcast and is doing lots of news appearances speaking the truth on Trump, keep it up Pete, you are an inspiration!

I love listening to Mayer Pete’s podcast! He has so many different perspectives that he’s bringing to the table in our voices that help lay the foundation of where we’ve been and where we’re going. And on like most podcast in her views he actually allowed his guests to speak and answer since fully! What a nice change from many podcast moderators who bring on guests and then spend most of the time talking instead of letting the guest answer the questions! Strongly recommend listening

I’ve been a Pete fan since he announced his run for President and I have consumed all of the media I can of his. This podcast is another example of how Pete can get to the heart of any matter. He’s a genuinely curious and empathetic host and that shines through in every episode.

These 5 star reviewers must like Pete the politician and are therefore blind to his averageness as a podcaster. I hope Pete rises to the highest levels of public office but most episodes are very boring. It is clear that Pete eyes his political future so he strays away from anything that is not purely main steam Democrat thought.

I respect Susan Rice and enjoyed this conversation! It was thoughtful and thought provoking.

Thought provoking podcast that explores issues relevant to our world today. Mayor Pete shoots straight from the hip and pulls no punches. I’d love to hear Mayor Pete interview :Kara Swisher (re Section 230, making bots illegal and how she would fix cyber over the next 4+ years).

I’ve enjoyed this podcast so much! Pete’s wonderful voice combined with very thoughtful conversations with fascinating people is a total winner! I’ve been listening on my way to work and this podcast really gives me a hopeful feeling. From humor to faith and everything in between, this podcast really gets you thinking!

I’m surprised not more people know about this podcast. Listen to the first one and I like it so I’ll keep updating this.

There’s so much going on in the world and Pete Buttigieg does a fantastic job with bringing on a variety of guests to break all of the issues we’re facing in an easy-to-understand way.

Great interview with a real window into person challenges facing women of color during past years/decades

Mayor Pete is an intelligence asset. And 2+ million Twitter followers, but only a handful of reviews? Someone bought some sub-bots.

Listening to Pete’s interviews is a delight for the mind and the soul. He has such natural curiosity that he engages you in directions you may not have even considered. Highly recommend.

Pete has superb listening skills. He is a very knowledgeable host and an expert in drawing out interesting tidbits as well as deep conversation with his guests. Ignore the haters giving their sad and spiteful one star reviews without having listened to the podcast.

Pete’s thoughtful questioning brought out humor and history. I had no idea that Shirley Chisholm visited George Wallace!

So far, I’ve listened to three of Pete’s interviews and all were thought provoking. He’s an excellent interviewer. Looking forward to many more.

Pete is an expert interviewer because he asks thoughtful questions, raises interesting and relevant topics, and always listens as he gives his guests time and space to respond. As an added bonus, his voice will lower instead of raise your blood pressure 🤠

Pete is not good

Just listened to the episode with Glennon Doyle. It was an amazing discussion. As a woman 70 years old, I felt the strong pull of everything discussed in open and heart felt ways. That need to belong can be so overpowering we lose ourselves. Yet, sometimes things align in ways we don’t expect and we find ourselves. Bravo Pete and Glennon!!!

A wonderful and candid interview. If you haven’t read Untamed, do so ASAP. It will impact your life in big and small ways. Freedom and liberation at its best. Change and social consciousness starts with each and every one of us, and hopefully we will be better ancestors as a result.

I so appreciate Mayor Pete’s approach to hot topics - thoughful, productive, and optimistic discussions so far in the first two episodes. To start with Preet Bharara and Glennon Doyle is emblematic of the types of discussions I hope Pete continues with future guests. Bring us the smart, kind, productive, and compelling guests without the rhetoric, Mayor Pete! We’re ready to listen!

Who speaks the language of belonging. That’s Pete. ADDENDUM: I have now listened to the first two episodes and can verify this podcast does not disappoint. It is thought-provoking and gets to the heart of what is wrong with politics in America: our loss of belonging and our mistrust of facts and expertise. I have a short attention span, but listened to both episodes straight through. They were captivating. Thank you Pete. I hope you continue this beyond the first season. It is inspiring. (end of addendum) I was going to wait to give my review until after the first episode, but then I saw the hater reviews. If they are going to waste their time hating, I will counteract that hate with sincere admiration for Pete and love for our country. We can do better. Pete knows that, and that is his motivation. I am really looking forward to this. I came to support Pete after listening to him in long interviews where he always listened, never became defensive when challenged, quite the opposite. He dug deeper into the issue, always trying to clarify the truth. Thank you for your voice. I am not a baby boomer. I’m close to your age, and I am very thankful that you are part of this experiment we call America. P.S. Based on the language used in the hater reviews, they are the toxic “Bernie bros” (or possibly Russian bots) we know so well from the primaries. If you are real people: This isn’t how you change the world for the better guys. Be more like Bernie…. And Pete. ;)

Loved the recent episode with Glennon Doyle. Two remarkable communicators and voices of this era. Pete’s calming and steady style combined with Doyle’s expressive and animated story telling are a great combination. Insightful conversation about expressing your true self in a world that is doing everything it can to stop you.

Calm. Insightful. Hopeful. Our country has become so divided, but leaders like Pete and the people he interviews give me hope that we will find a way forward.

I am a huge Pete supporter and I proudly cast my vote for him in my state primary. It’s no surprise at all that he’s hosting such an interesting podcast. He leads the conversations just like he will someday lead our country - beautifully.

Going to jump on the train of reviewing a podcast before it comes out since apparently people are doing that now. Pete is a thoughtful and intelligent public servant and I can’t wait to hear an hour of him talking to other thoughtful and intelligent people on this podcast. The people leaving 1 Star reviews sound like they’re literally living in an alternate reality. If this podcast is anything like the many long form interviews he’s given in the past (check out his Pod Save America, Ezra Klein, and Angry Americans appearances among others) this podcast is going to be fantastic. EDIT: I wasn’t wrong. First episode was great. Can’t wait for the next one.
