Listening to Katie complain about why teachers and schools aren’t doing any better or being innovative online is disappointing. Thankfully Kara Swisher acknowledged the digital divide but Katie clearly has no concept of this. The problem isn’t that schools aren’t doing more with technology it’s that 1. Technology isn’t available to all students and faculty/ staff 2. There’s not enough information available about how, what, and why we should be utilizing new technology in learning. Before talking about what schools aren’t doing let’s talk about how we fail to equip teachers and students every day with technology.

Thank you Katie and Boz for putting this together. I think your message is timely and especially needed. Could you add a question to your upcoming guest. I think as we figure out how to get back to normal we need instruction and examples of how to navigate through how to improve promoting Women and POC. Could you ask each panelists to provide an example of what they’ve done or how they will bring along a women or POC to take on leadership roles within their organization?
