    Entertaining & Educational Business Stories
Perfect for anyone who loved How I Built This! I came across this gem when I worked my way through HIBT and it has been a pleasant surprise! The hosts have assembled a greatest hits collection of rise-and-fall business cases and they’ve given each one a podcast episode. Highly recommend the PBR story. Hope to see a second season!

    Enjoy learning the history
Enjoy learning the history of the business, the people who started them and what is going on in the world at the time. I enjoy how you give me the entire story in full color instead just the outline. I see so many complaints about your personalities and Im disappointed, that's what I enjoy. I love you two bouncing off of each other. I'm not seeing new stories and I'm hoping you are on a break and coming back soon, PEASE! I really enjoy your show.

    Sometimes terrible
Ben and Jerry’s episode got me interested, RCA was good, but Mattel episode is terrrible. Sometimes they just banter and make bad jokes instead of giving actual journalistic details and facts. Mattel episode was a real disappointment as they spent a lot of time imagining the founders relationship (like how they dated) instead of talking about the actual real world drama that the toy industry went through. Be forewarned that they actually played the Barbie song in the Mattel episode.... nearly turned off there. Oh well. Hopefully they improve as it’s a good subject

    So sad
Really, really, really wanted to like this podcast. I’m into history and business and the history of businesses, and I’m surprised at the simple things they get wrong. The principles that amaze the presenters are common sense to anyone who knows business. Also, I listen to relax and the presentation is jittery and not relaxing. Nick punctates everything with a netbous lsuhh, and the host presents hetself as an aging Valley Girl. I’m sadly disappointed.

All depends on the company covered

Love the content, can’t handle the cackle
The female host has a wonderful, commending, engaging story-telling voice, for which I have no criticism. The male host, on the other hand, has an unrelenting cackle that drives me INSANE. I cannot handle it and I think it’s completely unnecessary, constantly interjecting itself at inappropriate times. Please omit his cringeworthy cackles!!!!!!!! Save an ear.

    Host is terrible
Podcast is pretty interesting however the male host I think his name is new guy mike is super annoying. This podcast would be a 5 star if it wasn’t for him. His laugh and dumb jokes all detract from the interesting information. Please get a different host so we can enjoy this podcast.

    Podcast is just terrific...
Decided to add my review because I really enjoy the concept of ‘deep diving’ into iconic brands we all know. The ‘magic’ is in the storytelling. Listening to a great story is more rewarding to me than watching TV. One polite recommendation. There seems to be way too much ‘laughter’ on behalf of the male host. Speak sentence, laugh. Speak sentence, laugh. Other than that...Bizography is one of my favorite podcasts...easily..

    Informative & entertaining
Really enjoy learning how the human side of a business directed where it is today. Well done.

It’s a show about the hosts personal life and not about businesses
I was really excited about this podcast when it was announced. I wanted to listen to the tinder episode, I had no idea that the founders couldn’t stand each other and I wanted to know more about it. But the first 25 minutes were about the hosts personal life, which became difficult to listen to. I was really disappointed. Only about 25 minutes focused on Tinder, and that portion felt rushed with compulsive bursts of information. It wasn’t good. If you want to make a podcast about your personal life then do that. But this really wasn’t about the business at all. Also listening to your personal stories become exhausting and bit like being forced to look at someone’s vacation pictures. I suggest refocusing and retesting with you target audience focus groups. You also might want to stay on script, your show feels like your not staying on your points, it feels sporadic. Hopefully this helps. I won’t be a long term listener or subscriber, this format doesn’t work for me. By there is no point in giving negative feedback if you don’t offer options in how to fix it. Good luck
