Just can’t get enough of this podcast. Enough said!! Simply the best!!

Really dateline??? Why did have to ruin our podcast experience with Trump ads back to back ? What is this??? Stay out of politics no matter which side you're on.

I’ve been a fan of dateline for years and have listened to the podcast since they released it. But that changes now. Running advertisements advocating for the release of murderers really? Unsubscribed for good now. I’m so disappointed in Dateline.

If I keep hearing ads to defend Trump’s crazy actions l might need to stop listening to this podcast. I do enjoy the show, but can’t stomach hearing that what Trump is doing is good as I watch America be destroyed.

Please do background checks and research on the people you do interviews with. The Egypt Convington interview was horrible only because you relied on a monster Lindsayann who loves to slander people and spreads malicious rumors and hearsay. She attaches her name to other people suffering for her financial gain.

So like I said, I absolutely love dateline. I’ve been watching since the early aughts…. There have been SO many great correspondents over the years. Even with the current crew you have some REALLY amazing talent! Keith Morrison is absolutely GOAT. End of story. I don’t even need to elaborate, I know it. You know it. Everyone knows it. Josh always wears the most classically perfect suits. You can tell that man spends $$$ on those suits, they fit perfectly and I’d say Josh is best dressed, by far! He’s a great correspondent as well. Then you. Have Andrea canning…. I can’t even tell you how quickly I will skip an episode and mark it as played within seconds of Andrea’s voice grating across my speakers. I can’t tolerate her for 5 minutes let alone an hour and a half. So the second part to my complaint is that dateline would put the “after the verdict” “talking dateline” etc, on a separate show or at least have a filter where you can get rid of those. It seems like there’s more of those than anything else anymore and that’s obnoxious.

Seriously? I counted 4 times the same ad was played for Trump in one episode. This isn’t a political platform, so why? Also, why is he doing ads, he won the election? Do better Dateline on who you let sponsor you because it reflects poorly on you. Not everyone can just fast forward through the ads. You were one of my favorite podcasts, which makes me sad.

Do better. The recent “Support Trump” ad is horrible and seems very much like a brainwashing ad used by a cult leader. I won’t listen any longer with ads like that.

Give whoever does the soundtrack for the weekly crime update a raise, 80% of why I listen to it is for those dope beats 🔥

The Jailhouse Interview with Lori Daybell lacked integrity and underscored the media’s obsession with a female murderer with a certain look. Lori controlled the entire sham of an interview while Keith seemingly sat back and let that sociopathic killer speak freely. There have been other interviews where Keith confronted an alleged killer without backing down. The exact opposite happened in this interview. This murderer does not need any more attention and certainly not a platform to spew her lies.

Love the podcast, love all the anchors. Very well edited and informative. Keep up the good work!

So much content that isn't what I subscribed for. Put that garbage in its own show.

In Talking Dateline, the listeners ONLY will get to hear/learn MAYBE 1-detail ONLY that may or may have not been on the original Dateline show. It seems to be just a waste of time, as there is nothing new to learn in regard to the Dateline that each of you are speaking about. It truly is nothing more than co-workers “saying” great job…… Then the “listener’s questions.” It’s only 2- very basic questions answered at best. Now on the Talking Dateline in regards to Lori Vallow Daybell, there were more very basic questions answered than every single other Talking Dateline. Please DO MORE with Talking Dateline, because it does NOT OFFER ANYTHING NEW TO THE ACTUAL DATELINE CASE THAT WAS COVERED.

I have been a long time, follower of dateline and have loved every thing that Keith has ever done. But the Laurie Vallow Daybell interview was horrible. He seemed to be flirting with her just as much as she was flirting with him. Nothing new was learned, it was a total waste of time.

I really like Dateline. Because it shows me there is nasty disgusting people in the world that will do anything stupid. But keep up the good work guys. You really help me be informed

Love the storytelling. I finally broke down and paid for the subscriber addition. It’s so worth it to not have ads! I’d love to see more series like Murder in the Moonlight. I’ve listened to all the series and I’m hooked. I even wake up to Josh yelling at me, or Andrea being so chipper, or Keith, scary Keith…my neighbors are amused when the windows are open. Overall, great show. If I had one complaint, it would be that I don’t get notifications of new episodes all the time, but hey, I’m here every day anyway!

The women reporters in these episodes make my blood boil. They LEAN on the victims/interviewees in a clumsy and obviously disingenuous way, asking questions literally to rip the emotion and trauma out of these people for display. They feel like trauma vampires with little to no concern about retraumatizing these people for the sake of a rating. I understand all true crime media is exploitation on some level, but at least other shows allow the interviewees to tell their own story. The feigned sincerity in their voices literally makes my stomach churn, and for these reasons I am unfollowing this show. Please get informed on how to handle victims of trauma. As a woman who has experienced trauma myself, you should be ashamed.

Overall I love Dateline. It’s the only podcast content I pay for. My one quibble with the show is the weird upspeak by Andrea Canning. I get that the hosts want to up the drama, but it’s like listening to someone reading aloud a YA melodrama to teens. It can grate. Other than that…5 stars!

After listening to the episode on Bob Lee’s death, I have no idea what people are complaining about. There are no digs on Elon, even though there are many to be had. Those MAGA snowflakes are easily triggered. Great show I will keep listening to. Actually, I’m going to listen even harder just to spite those down rating this awesome series.

I pay for the premium subscriber edition & it’s so worth it. I have 2 have this playing at bedtime it’s so relaxing & helps me fall asleep. I think I’ve heard every story that’s out. Please keep the episodes coming & keep up the fantastic work. Thank you for years of entertainment 🫶🏼♥️ oh and for all of you complaining about the political ads,, just get the subscriber edition. Just listened to the 2 episodes revisiting this case. She should never get out. She stood there and watched her boys, strapped into car seats, drown. Keep her in prison.

If some of these trolls are truly subscribed than why are they getting ads? Do they get bent if the ads are for the other Party? They are the one’s screaming free speech all the time. But then, logic, truth or resin has never been their strong point.

I love dateline. Keep spending the truth about Elon, the new Hitler.

As an ex-cop; This show is good to get a rough outline of an event but the arrogance and political bias of the hosts has gotten severe you can't trust the details to be accurate.

San Francisco is as cesspool of crime. Elons correct! Stay out of politics or go the way of CNN.

I just enjoyed a couple great episodes- the Devil Wore White and the talking Dateline that goes along with it- and came here to finally write my first review. I was surprised to see all the 1-stars and guess what most of them were all about- political ads?? I’ve never received one political ad while listening to Dateline. That could be your algorithm. If you don’t like it, change your phone/ laptop settings (cookies) or stop being the political troll you are that feels the need to cancel something over a silly ad you don’t agree with

And I listen to every episode. I don’t know what people are referring to with the woke comments (?). Genuinely very confused . I believe a lot of the ads are served based on your location and demographic, not necessarily the Dateline teams choice.

I have religiously listened to dateline NBC up until this episode. It just feels like dateline put some unnecessary digs in on Elon Musk. Very very wrong. Very disgusting. Not the place for that. See ya I’m unsubscribing!

Why did Dateline have to ruin a good thing

I love love love dateline. I’ve listened to the podcast for YEARS and I’ve been watching for even longer. Not the ads the last couple weeks have just been such a turn off. Can we please leave politics/political ads out?? I listen to this for the stories and to unwind not to hear garbage ads about “blocked bills” It just makes me not want to listen any more and I’m 100% not going to pay for a subscription so they can add more garbage ads. I love Keith Morrison and Lester holt but please take politics out of this!

That man can tell a story like no other!please. Take hooda ads out! So loud and high pitched I get jolted awake! Make it stop!

Perfect dateline episodes that you can listen to in the dark! Sometimes no light and a story told by anyone of the journalists

Blayne’s been a great addition to the team, it’s like she’s always been there! I used to skip all of the “Talking Dateline” and the weekly current event recap episodes but I find I’ve actually come to enjoy them. I like listening to their banter and thoughts. Not the same as a Dateline episode of course - but still a worthwhile addition to the Dateline offerings.

Why doesn’t she speak like a professional journalist or even a normal human? She’s not even speaking correct English.

It’s a little strange but I love to workout/runs and listen to these true crimes stories. Love to hear how detailed the interviewers describe the events. Been a listener for around 4 years and I’m not sure what I’d do without theses stories. Thank you so much!

Cancelled subscription post Talking Dateline rubbish that should be a separate entity. NBC working hard to mess with a good thing and go the way of MSNBC. Good luck with that.

The cast is superb and I love the addition of Blayne. Andrea, Josh, Blayne, Keith and of course the amazing Dennis Murphy are wonderful story tellers and bring such compassion to the cases they cover. They know when to be sympathetic but yet aren’t afraid to ask the tough questions. Talking Dateline is a great addition to the lineup, showing us a behind-the-scenes look at the cases they cover. I’ve often wondered how the correspondents feel after covering a case and now we know!

Dateline podcast used to be great but now they just keep recycling old stories. Also, “talking dateline” and all the bonus content is awful. The dateline feed is totally clogged with garbage content and re-runs. I’m really disappointed in the way this feed is being run.

Can we stop the talking dateline episodes. It’s unnecessary. It throws off the feed. I personally don’t want to hear your thoughts on the story. Y’all can keep that for the morning meetings. Respectfully. Imuxtafa

I love Dateline. I subscribed to Peacock so I could see them like it always says in this podcast. They are not there— even with Peacock Premium Plus.

The Clearing episode should have explored more into if the detective or prosecutor was getting ready to run in an election because they just went after the first person they talked to, my coworkers and i have debated this episode many times over and we are mix bag / diverse bunch of folks that rarely agree on anything but we all agreed he was innocent and detective and prosecutor new he had money went after him for their own personal reasons or gain. Pretty obvious when mixed bunch of people all agree, and her socalled close friends we found out from other podcast she wasn’t really friends with she was a loner type family said.

I am shocked to hear people bash Andrea Canning. I experience her as compassionate but also a highly professional, hard driving journalist. I also love Josh and Keith.
