Mike is a great host who always leads funny and interesting conversations with his guests.

I’m moving to LA in a month and I found this podcast. It’s really giving me the ins and outs of the entertainment industry all while making me laugh! Mike has fun conversations and it’s cool to hear stories from people with such diverse backgrounds and professions. Not to mention, it’s calming and reassuring to hear such successful people speak about their struggles. I’m into it!!

As a former guest this may seem biased, BUT I can say without a doubt that Mike creates the perfect environment for his guests to GET REAL and dish the honest advice actors are aching to hear. This show is funny, interesting, and insightful about the crazy industry that is show business! And he is relentless in making sure we get to the heart of the matter!

Mike is a terrific interviewer. It never feels like he sticks to a rigid script or format, he listens and asks interesting and relevant questions, and all of his guests sound relaxed. If you care or are interested about the acting or film industry, or about life in Los Angeles, or just like to hear people’s stories, hit subscribe.

What a great podcast. Everyone's story is different so it's always entertaining and the format that Mike set is great. I love hearing about the rituals everyone has. It's seriously my favorite part. 10/10 stars.

As a podcast virgin, I never thought listening to people talk could hold my attention for this long. But Mike is such a good host. He's hilarious and his guests clearly have a blast. These episodes are so fun & super entertaining. Must subscribe.

I am totally obsessed with this podcast! I love all the guests and how the interviews go. I've been wanting to start writing and currently reside in LA. This has given me so much insight into how it's actually done and gives me motivation to start! Love it!

Mike is always so excited to talk to his guests that it makes listening to the podcast such an enjoyable experience. Definitely recommend this podcast, especially for comedy fans, but really for anyone!

These interviews are incredible! Every one I have heard is fantastic! Right up there with Maron, You rule Mike!

Mike as a great way of unarming people and allowing them to open up about their careers and reflect on where they came from, where they are and what may be ahead for them in the future. I work in the "industry" as a freelance cinematographer and photographer and a have a lot of actor and improv friends grinding away doing their thing here in City of Angels. These interviews give great insight into the processes of "making it", the journey if you will. The stories are uplifting, encouraging and honest. No two stories are alike and everyones path is starkly different, even though you come across some common themes, influences and group people have been a part of. It all comes down to hard work, presistence and sometimes a little bit of right place and right time. In general I enjoy how Mike conducts the interviews, the questions he asks and the variety of talent he has had on. I learn something on every podcast and I laugh out load many times during an interview. Keep up the fantastic podcast Mike and I wish you nothing but continued success. -Major

Box Angeles is my favorite podcast to hear about the journey comedians take to make it in the world of show biz. It's fun, entertaining and always insightful. Mike is a real doll.

Box Angeles gives an honest and hilarious glimpse into who makes up the crazy world of entertainment in Los Angeles. Even to someone who isn’t part of the scene, or trying to make it in comedy or acting, learning more about the people that have us clutching our sides and laughing to the point of tears with their twisted and brutally honest view on the world, is an interesting insight into their experience; a gift that Mike delivers in each episode.

Mike is a great guy and I happen to know him through the comedy community. You can sense he has a genuine passion to pursue his dream in a career of the arts, and he has a way of having the guests open up that is very insightful. Mike also makes sure that the episode doesn’t end up being a conversation without any purpose or a sense of direction. Box is the fresh voice we need to keep our ears and brains informed with the artists we admire today.

This guy is classic and hilarious. His guests come from all walks of life and always find something to relate to Mike with to keep the conversation flowing. His bit about beer is part of my favorite, especially when he introduces the LA folk to some of the beset Midwest beer. We have good stuff here in Sota, where Mike was born and raised, and I love how he's sharing it with the LA Peeps. I'll keep listening if Mike keeps producing. Get it Box.

This will be my first review...ever. This podcast came up in my recommendations. I can't believe how intimate this podcast is. You can see a person on a late show and know nothing about a person. If you listen to this podcast you get a real sense of the guest's personality. I'm jealous that "Box" gets to spend so much time with such interesting people. The conversation seems so natural. There is plenty of dumb chatter, but that chatter seems to foster a real comfort with the guest. I'll be checking out this podcast again.

I don't normally listen to podcasts but Box Angeles is the definition of hilarious! You will find yourself getting excited each week. The guests talk about real things and it is so insightful on the entertainment industry. Who doesn't love that! Highly recommend it, you will NOT be disappointed!

This podcast really spotlights all the different avenues people take in hopes of finding success in the entertainment industry. BUT on top of that it’s super entertaining throughout each ep. So good!

I love this podcast! Box is so genuine he feels like an old buddy and every week it’s like he’s bringing in a new friend for me to meet and hang out with. It’s a lot of fun! Each episode Box mentions a new beer he and his guest are drinking. When that happens, I pause the podcast, run to the store and buy that beer so I can be on the same page as them. It feels more like hanging out that way. I don’t live in Los Angeles so I can’t drink every beer he has but I try to make it work.
