The whole New Books Network needs to find brisk and engaging interviewers. I’ll skim the topics to look for interesting books, but I don’t listen anymore.

Interesting stories; however, the interviewer is boring and many of the story tellers are also boring in their telling of these stories. His does this happen?

The podcast’s concept is interesting, but the execution is hard to like. There are frequent audio challenges. In addition, many of the authors write much better than they speak.

The echo is too distracting. I think the host is great, but please invest in better equipment.

A terrific host really makes these podcasts rise above even the already high standard of the New Books Network.

The interviewer is in an echo chamber, and the guest is calling on a cell phone that muffles his voice. On top of that, he keeps hitting phone buttons with his chin, and his kids are running around and making noise. This is from the episode about the Nixon marriage: if the others are also this bad, I won't be listening more than 5 minutes!

Can you do one on Walsingham? One one has tackled the subject.
