NullityUpdateUpdate: not feeling it anymore. Unsubbed. Original: The hosts voice is so soothing. It makes me want to live in a Queenslander house and barbecue on the patio facing the woods With blue tongue lizards walking about. Thank you for such a great podcast.
-
ArbuffaloSo glad this podcast is back!!Very well done. One of my favorites
-
Jessica1022(AsianMadness)One of my favesI love the tone. Some might say serious, some might say monotonous. Either way, he’s back in April and I’m just stoked (I never unsubscribed btw)

RehanKhan510You're backYou have been missed. This podcast is exceptional. Well crafted and delivered. The OG of True Crime. Cheers.
-
CastDisRiteHerePainfully monotonousGood choice of cases but completely ruined by the brutally monotonous delivery. Why would you ruin all your effort by speaking this way? Impossible to focus without constant annoyance. Sadly, a pass.
-
olive and lexicoFresh true crime contentThe host has a lovely accent and a calm tone that could easily lul you off to sleep. Perfect tone and voice for heavy content. Also like the detailed timelines. Hopefully we haven’t heard the last of this..
-
takennivkname25795The man’s voice induced sleepHe’s very flat, monotone, and unemotional in his delivery.

Mom the professionalLove it and want more!I have listened to many different true crime podcasts and this is definitely one of the best! I think the production is creative and impactful. I appreciate the pace as it keeps me from getting bored and distracted while listening. I look forward to hearing more episodes in the future!
-
kRiSz_kRiSzIt’s back!So excited that this dope podcast is back. For some constructive criticism, I’ll add that maybe it’s a lil too fast. Just a smidge slower would make it easier to follow. Still love it, though!! Thanks for coming back!!!
-
MSG_CakeYaaaay!One of my fave podcasts is back!

Middle Age Mum2020 is no longer the worst year everTHANK YOU for returning - you have been missed. Such a great podcast. Strong writing. A musical voice. Perfection!

Baby javaMorse code?I had to use a Morse Code translator to find out the title (and content) of the latest trailer. Ha! Looking forward to the new season, Felon.
-
Ren.the.henLove this one! This podcast has some of the best production I’ve come across in true crime podcastland. I absolutely love the chilling music, sound effects which Broderick includes. The little things really make a difference. I’m sad to have nearly come to the end. I’ve decided to save the last few episodes from my binge so I can listen later. I absolutely get that life is crazy and can’t imagine trying to fit a podcast production into my schedule but - just sayin’ - you wouldn’t hear any complaints from me if you did ever come back! 🌈🦕🦁

Asturg23SLOW DOWN PLEASELove the content of this podcast but could you please put some kind of personality into it and slow down? I know you’re reading off of a script but if you could improvise a little it would make it much better. Personalize it more?
-
PuggysgalSo good, Sad it’s gone. Rumors it’s coming back though!Hope they are true!

sstropeLove ❤️I’m hooked love your podcast ❤️❤️❤️❤️ also found others I’m loving through your recommendations keep up the good work

Paige C.S.Narration Needs WorkI like the stories themselves, but the narrator speaks too quickly and also speaks with very few pauses, emphases, or anything to absorb the ear in the telling. I find myself spacing out unless I am actively trying to catch every word.

Devine Ms DHappily BingingI found this when I heard it recommended on a podcast that I can't stand, but had run out of options. It was at the beginning, and I immediately switched over. The Five stars had me skeptical but once I started listening I was pleased to find that this podcast deserves every bit of those five stars and more. I love the format like others have mentioned. I like a scripted show with no rambling or chit-chat, and an intelligent sounding host. The cases are new to me, yay? I don't get people suggesting cases on other podcasts I don't want to hear about the story I already know about so it's very sweet of odd.
-
MamatoaredheadLove it!I love listening to this podcast but find the background music just a little too loud.
-
StevenewengTop True Crime PodcastGreat podcast. Narrator is a phenomenal storyteller. I always look forward to the next episode.
-
Bubbe/Max/AviExcellently produced, wonderful narration, talented writing! So pleased am I to have found you, the podcast to which I compare all others’.
-
JkdancrWHOA 😳🤯I love true crime podcasts blah blah blah, sword and scale, gen why, casefile etc. I like my podcasts to be serious, not murder surrounded with some lolz. And this one is not only serious but the MUSIC! God, the music that supports the storytelling is awesome. I just binged the first season. Good work on this show to all those involved, I love it!!
-
FinnnnnnnnnnnnnmnnnnLoving itWonderful host, clearly spends a lot of time on each podcast
-
Jenni122794Narratoring needs work...Love that you are telling a story, similar to casefile but the narrating definitely needs work.
-
Me*LisaGreat showLove this podcast! Love the accent! Well researched and great delivery! Keep it up !
-
Remie4The Best!!I absolutely love this podcast, as well as the voice of the host!! He is an amazing, engaging storyteller, which I believe is a true art! Each episode is extremely well researched, written, and presented! I’m not sure if this is a one man show, or a collaborative effort, but it is definitely a 5 star show!!! On another note- I must say as an American, it is very embarrassing to see fellow Americans complaining about accents, and their inability to understand what is being said. Shame on those people. As an American who has traveled almost all of my country, I feel compelled to remind these people that there are many different accents throughout the US, many of which I’ve had a difficult time understanding. I truly miss this show, please, please, please come back soon!! I’m sure all of your fans miss you as much as I do!!

yo nana 1950Nancy, got a podcast jonesAt the end of part one “Frank Vitcovich” the artistic imposition of music drowning out the speaker’s rhetoric well illustrated the impotence of words heard from politicians over and over and still, WE DIE at the hands of a mad-man with a gun(s.)
-
Make_WhateverLove itVery well narrated and interesting stories
-
TicketstoTokyoTrue CrimeRecently tuned in, and I am desperately binging this Podcast. I hope to see new ones posted soon!
-
HeadyspiceAmazing. Great story tellingWoah. This is amazing. Really puts u in the story visualizing what actually happened. Which makes it even more emotional. I have a whole range happening listening. I love that i hear cases ive never heard before in another country. Its not read straight from wiki. High production if ur really into that. All around really amazing and well put together. Keep them coming please. More more more!!!!!

Haisel093Good content but narrator speaks like an alien trying to be humanGood content but I can’t get past the awkward way that the narrator speaks. The sentence flow isn’t there and it’s full strange pauses that make no sense. It’s like, he’s putting, commas in the, most random places and, I don’t understand, why. The podcast feels choppy and I can’t binge it like I do with other podcasts as I need a break from the narrator’s speaking style. Content wise, A+

Kt_Did1986Great podcast! So, I’m a true crime podcast junkie. In the past, I preferred longer podcasts. Just because I like to lose myself in a story or conversation. But this one man show has brought me around to shorter podcasts. The cases he covered are still very well researched. I’ve been bingeing for the past couple of days. I encourage everyone to give it a try. As I’m from the US, most of these cases are new to me and I’m hooked. Thank you for the other reviewers who convinced me to give Felon a shot!

Heath_erLovvving thisLove all the details and doesnt skimp out on the facts. Quickly becoming a favorite. Thank u!!!!!!!!$
-
KaysierozIncredible showI stopped listening to Sword and Scale due to its extremely problematic host, Mike Boudet. This podcast has filled that void and exceeded in so many ways that S&S failed. I am recommending this show to all my true crime pals.
-
SstindsPodcast4.5 rating needs to be 10 love this podcast
-
jim tuzlePodcast review.Hey Cambo, Great podcast. I have listened to every episode twice and some three. Excellent presentation and writing. The only complaint I can make is you brought on a sidekick. I will not listen to a podcast that have more than two and with such an intriguing presentation as yours, you do not need a sidekick. Thanks for a great podcast.
-
AnneietcReally good!I want to recommend this to anyone who loves Casefile - as I know most of us do. The format is very similar, and the hosts accent is calming yet terrifying at times! Episode 9 especially scared the heck out of me - the sound effects of the spear gun were perfect! I am binge listening to this and it is easily in my top 5!!!
-
Sam V AdamsGreat podcast but please...Great podcast! But, please don’t introduce overly produced ads. I stopped listening to the radio because I can’t endure the ads. Podcasts are great because ads done by the host are tasteful and don’t break the mood of the program. I will not support companies that advertise this way (Staples).
-
