I have listened to all the episodes of the 8 series so far, with my kids. The usual question at the end is: “Why we don't learn about these people at school or university?”. And in my opinion, that is the best compliment you can have. You guys have helped me in opening their curiosity into the importance of history and the importance of critical thinking. Please keep going!

I love it! I'm an American and a voracious true crime listener. I also know nearly nothing about New Zealand. This informative pod is enjoyable well produced. I appreciate the perspectives of the host and the knowledge from the experts interviewed for the topics.

Good yarns. Well researched, interesting, good production quality. Good narration. Anyone from anywhere around the world would find this a good listen. You don’t need to be from NZ. Can’t wait for more! Can’t say a bad thing about this podcast.

♥️♥️♥️🤷‍♀️♥️ I can only figure it’s a New Zealander, that they’re all too familiar with these tales of murder and mayhem. As an American, I’m happy we’ve not cornered the market on tumult and turmoil, notwithstanding on a much smaller scale.

The episodes are short, but packed with highly interesting and entertaining stories about the history of New Zealand. One of my new favorites!

Americans tend to be egocentric. We are not taught a lot about world history or culture. It is wonderful to learn about a culture through their not so shiny characters. New Zealand is fascinating and I am enjoying learning about it through the entertaining Black Sheep podcast!
