I’ve been a D&C listener for over 10 years now. Over the last 2 years this show has become increasingly LESS funny. The quality is down considerably and they fired James one of the funniest members only to replace him with the monotone boring phone screener. I’m currently looking for new shows to replace this one.

Just when I thought this “ show “ could not get lamer, they are over the Moon that they can use curse words. You really broke the mold - congratulations everyone. They work together & they sleep together.

Absolutely love every aspect of the show and I’ve been listening a long time. Andy and Lisa are comedic gold and I love hearing more from Jason.

I absolutely love the podcast but it seems they go on full week vacations every few weeks. It’s so annoying not to hear current news, celebrity dirt & what’s going on with the people in the podcast. They must make too much money or something. Must be nice

Well…. I tried to give it a couple weeks without James before blasting the show. Truth is, it’s not the same for sure and never will be. For all new listeners, they’ll never notice the change. For everyone else, it’s obvious. Time to turn the page I guess and attempt to love the show all over again. You can feel the awkward tension in the room when Dave or Chuck wants to bounce the bit off James but they have to almost catch themselves and redirect. Jason is a great part of the show is his OWN way. but he is slowly trying to play the homoerotic roll of James and it’s making the show feel fake. I’ve been listening to this show for about 15 years, so maybe my opinion is bias as they almost feel like long distance family. This is not a “1 star bash the show to bring James back” review. It’s my complete honest opinion on the “new show”. I will continue to listen as it’s become my daily routine, reminiscing on the past like a sequel to a movie that just doesn’t stand up to the first.

Please get rid of James. Permanently. He’s not funny and he me makes the show worse every time he talks. Andy and chuck are hilarious, it’s so sad that Andy stoped being part of the show. I honestly can’t see the show lasting much longer if this is the new dynamic

I’ve listened since the 89X days and have loved it!! But the recent change of Andy being quiet and James talking way too much is killing me. How much longer are we going to pretend that James is funny??? Everyone has such a great sense of humor and then James pops in with the same 12 year old boy humor everytime. Also, they talk about how people in the service industry have such hard jobs and we should tip well and be respectful, but when James flips out on service industry workers for things that are out of their control or because they don’t have what he wants, it’s funny?? His behavior and his sense of humor need to grow up. Edited to add: I hope the two days of reruns don’t mean you’re thinking about bringing James back. Or if you do, don’t give him a mic. PLEASE. The other four hosts will get into a groove. Give it time.

Bring James back. Absolutely insane that you guys cut him from what has to be one of your biggest money makers.

Dave gets Covid once a month and the others apparently can’t do the show without him and they just go to re runs all week. Bring back James and dump Lisa. She contributes zero to the show

I am boycotting listening to Dave and chuck after they fired James Campbell for supposed “budget cuts”. Beasley media group just lost a ton of listeners because of this. I will no longer be supporting the show. The way it was announced on air, was heartless and cold. What a shame, I was a daily listener, peep show watcher, and podcast listener - every single day. I no longer will be listening anymore.

Can’t believe Beasley media would fire a guy who has for years, helped make this show a success in so many ways. I’m very disappointed.

Great morning show but I must say REMOVE James Mic. Or replace him with Jason (don’t fire James just make sure he don’t contribute to the show) he is the most annoying out of the crew, I’m ok with Dave exaggerating his laugh or the tapping of the pen 🤣 but the homosexual James that constantly contributing gay scenarios is annoying. The show does AMAZING when he keeps his comment and weird “joke” that always fails. Is like he uses the LGBTQ as a prop for the show, if he can’t be repurposed do better or be original.

It’s the same content over and over again with skits that other stations do in other markets and gets old fast but I guess if you think dicks and farts are still funny after the thousandth time maybe it’s for you.

All the crazy religious first people and anti-sexual humor people commenting are real bummers. Also this is unscripted except the story reads, love the show. And congrats on being a top 5 morning comedy show in the US.

I have several comedy podcasts in my playlist of various improv comics out of LA, but after I discovered Dave and Chuck the Freak, EVERYTHING has gone by the wayside. I not only get to keep up with weird and perverted news, but I also get to enjoy amazing improvisation by them about the topics at hand. I love that these hosts have been working together for decades and their banter is incredibly hilarious. I am going through their old catalog off their website so it ends up being 9 hours of my work day with their non-stop ridiculousness and informative content. These peeps bring so much joy to my work day that I actually look forward to going to work and having their voices in my ear holes!

Three weeks since an actual new show?

Would be a great show but they have more days off than on air. If there’s any type of holiday you best believe they’re not working the entire week.

I stumbled upon this at work listening to another radio show.. I would listen to them for 3 hrs then Dave and chuck came on. I literally laughed out loud for the whole show. I’m absolutely hooked now. I listen to old shows till the new one drops. Guys are absolutely hilarious. Keep up the good work! Oh ya I’m ruined for any other radio show going forward.

I hope that dude that posted one star and stated that this show is “sinful” and “left” and “anti-police” has kids that end the long line of inbreeding that has been taking place down where they’re from. My only complaint is just let us know when you’re tuning repeat shows. Aside from that, awesome show.

Followed these guys for year. But the fact is these guys are far left anti christ anti freedom. You can hear chuck talk about more government. They are anti cop, anti religious. They make fun of people in the south strictly because that mostly oppose their political views. It’s time to end fools like these people. They don’t deserve a platform to preach sin.

Whoever made this decision needs to rethink this. When you live outside the listening area then the podcast is how you hear this kicka$$ show. Segmenting this is beyond frustrating. No, just no. It’s not about adjusting to change. Its a show, keep the show together. The podcast listeners can stop and start it as needed, like normal. Go back to what it was. Use this as a teachable moment on what isn’t working.

I love this podcast but having to navigate 5 segments to hear 1 show is absurd. Here’s an idea, 1 segment = 1 show. Sounds like the old format. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Worst yet is having ads in the middle of a bit during the show instead of what would normally be a commercial break. Very consumer unfriendly. If I’m to be force fed ads, please get something other than Draft Kings. Promote gambling, then tell them to seek help if they have a gambling problem. Awesome. I guess it doesn’t matter, my skip 30 seconds works just the same. I just have to do it more often now. I hate to give this 2 stars because Dave, Chuck, Lisa, Andy and James are fantastic and are not to blame.

I listened to part 3 almost all the way through because of the new format! Five stars for the show!
