    A shill for blizzard?
I love all of the Frogpants shows, cept JRY, he’s not great to listen too, although I’m sure he’s fine in everyday life. I’m waiting on the response to how blizzard mishandled this blizzcon and how the fans let expectations ruin their trip.

Sound is Good and he is funny but he poos errors like no clue is had
Scoot is a likeable guy and the tone of the sow is casual and a a bit funny - but to be brutal the guy is oft clueless about the game even the wizard class which he says he plays most....he also stopped doing them proably because he saw how lame he sounds trying to come up with the proper D3 term for some skill or item... but everyone loves Scott the nice mormon man who is not that angry about non mormons ( a lot of mormons look sown with contempt at non-morons in real life although they will not say that in public) scott really is just a rather laid back game addict who has problems eating some foods that make his poor colon hurt - the guy is a real pooer - but that does not suffer in his podcasting as he always has tech matters and sound at pro level. Anyway I hope he can wash his magic mormon underware or I mean garments well. Sadly his wife and he will not go on ot planet rulling and sex party times together as all Moromn believers who take it as their gospel over the Real Truth go striaght to hell....anyway as to Hell and Diablo 3 Scott is so-so.... but all the followers of the truth pray for his poopy colon and mislead soul.

    Diablo crack
First: in response to the reviews that declare this a "waste of time" or "by somebody who knows nothing about Diablo"...thanks for stopping by and have a great day somewhere else. This show in no way purports to be a "Diablo For Dummies" or "Super Diablo Strategy Guide" or "Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Diablo For People Who Apparently Already Know It All". It's just casual news, commentary, and commiseration (sp). I didn't consider myself a gamer until I started listening to various Frogpants podcasts. The Diablo show got me so interested that I picked up the game and am now addicted. I'd never even heard of it, so all the folks saying this show is not for the unititiated can pound sand, too. All thumbs up. It's just a fun podcast and not meant to be the repository of all knowledge. Oh, and to the commenter declaring that Scott Johnson is too old to use terms like "rad"? Lighten up, punk.

    Content is bad
If you enjoy Diablo... move along and steer clear from this. The host has no idea what he is talking about.

An amazing show about your favorite game!
Well, if you like Diablo you couldn’t ask much more than to have Scott Johnson make a podcast about it. Totally delivers, wish he did more episodes but whatevs ya know...

    No Co-Host and Patreon BS
Lack of a co-host really hampers the show, Im sure there are plenty of huge Diablo fans the host could find to help him out. And Im tired of patreon pimping. Why should we give people money for doing a hobby? No one pays me to do my free time activities.

    He's won me over!
I was highly skeptical at first with Scott flying solo, but somehow he has made it work, and work well! It's a great addition to my work time podcasts, helping me keep sane during the week.
  • Radise
    Interesting commentary & perspective
Scott manages to keep this weekly show interesting, even if there's not always a lot happening in the game. Enjoy the guests he has from time to time.
  • JP20076
Akin to your grandpa rambling about vidya games.
If you know nothing about Diablo then this podcast gets maybe 2 stars. If you know anything about Diablo then this podcast earns 1 star, Scott knows barely anything about the game. The fact that he is also solo makes listening even more agonizing. I love the instance, mainly because the dynamic between Scott and co-hosts is great. If you read this Scott, for the love of god get a co-host or someone who actually plays Diablo.

    Another Johnson great
As per usual, I was not disappointed by any part of this podcast. Scott Johnson takes this one solo, with phone calls, emails, and his own knowledge. Love it!

    The Blizzard of Podcasters.
Just like Blizzard everything Scott Johnson touches is pure Gold! Cant wait for season 2!!!

Love the game, Love the Show
Due to Scott's wonderful wit, and enjoyable self discussions I had to run out and by the expansion...He brings everything wonderful about podcasts to the table, I look forward to this show every week! Awesome.... Awesome.... Awesome!

    A must-listen to podcast for D3 fans!
What a fantastic find this podcast is. Love Scott's passion and enthusiasm for this game. Great tips for gearing and skills! Will definitely stay awhile and listen.

Great Info for the Casual Player Too!
I have been enjoying the podcast alot. I don't get to play very often, so I would normally miss a ton of game content. Scott covers a great deal of information and I am clued into the latest and greatest that I would normally miss. It is an awesome podcast and I look forward to every installment. Keep up the Great Work Scott!
  • roman_writer
    Great show, for the veterans
If you want a show to ease you into the game, this isn't it. A show for Diablo veterans or just any fans of Scott in general. Fantastic show, but I would love a random guest host every week.
  • Dante041555
    Needs more hosts
This show needs more guest hosts or a permanent cohost. There is not enough regular content for any class other than wizard. This is due to having a solo host and his lack of knowledge about the game.

    Skip it
Just lost 51 minutes of time listening to this boring sludge. One small crumb of interesting news not enough. (You're 35, dude, too old to thank listeners for being 'rad.')
  • Bogbars
    Quality show; lots to like
This is a really good podcast, and it definitely reflects the hard work and quality you'd come to expect from anything on the Frog Pants Network--it's really good stuff. I suggest this show to those who would be new to Diablo 3, and definitely worth listening to if you've been playing since the early days of Diablo 1. Seriously--CHECK IT OUT NOW--you won't regret it.
  • Jeeezy
    Awesome
Only podcast I listen to. Gets me through my diablo-less workdays.
  • TYMONGER
    Scott Johnson for Prez.
This is just another show he knocks out of the park. It is different, & I do not know if I like or dislike him doing a show by himself. But right now I will trust in Scott to do the show we all will enjoy to lessoning to.
  • Alastor_Russell
    It's Diablo. It's Scott Johnson.
Scott knocks another one out of the park with (yet) another peerless addition to the Frogpants rollcall. If you like Diablo, there's really no reason not to listen.
  • Big not so bad John
    Legendary!
Solo, duo, whatever Scott puts together a well produced, usually informative, passionate and entertaining podcast experience.
  • AaronRW
    Scott Johnson, at it again.
I'm a long time listener of The Instance and love the laid back feel Scott is bringing to Diablo. The recent updates and expansion to D3 have brought me back in and I'm glad there's a quality podcast to go along!
  • Zackery Daley
    Diablo fan of 11 years
I'm 21 played diablo 1 and 2 around the release of 2. Huge fan of the soloing and loot, I just play on master and run bosses until the new mode opened these new options and community network. The show is great, I have been looking for a forum where I can do my diablo nerding. The deckard Cain sounds a bit like old Bane haha. It's hilarious, but definitely nerd friendly and first, unlike other gaming podcasts that focus on comedy or cover 7 games on one ep. I'm excited for the future of this podcast and maybe one day when the dueling is fixed (which we miss dearly) I'll find you and slay you with Athena my Barbarian.
  • Kallidus
Some great, and some work to be done.
5/5 as a show for people who know and love Diablo. 1/5 so far, for those who might be new to the universe, and looking for a podcast that can introduce them to the game.
  • Loaktar
    Simply perfect
There I was, just wishing someone would make a podcast like this when suddenly Scott Johnson came out of nowhere and delivered in spades! Thank you man
  • A guy from the land of Ice
Another great show from the king himself
Scott brings his charm and professionalism to another great podcast. This man knows how to create entertaining shows! The Diablo Show is great!

    another home run
This is another great show from the Frogpants crew. If you know there work, you already know you're getting fantastic production value, great conversations, and an all around fun show. If Frogpants only brings to mind Levis for amphibians, here is a great jumping on point for you. Check this out, check out their other shows (The Morning Stream, Filmsack - just a drop in the bucket of what they offer) - you won't be disappointed.
  • MrBthoven
    Scott Johnson is the best!
I am loving D3 RoS at the moment and I had been considering looking for D3 podcast when this show was announced so the timing was perfect. Like all of Scott's shows, this one has the perfect mix of entertainment and information.

Like Scott, I'm deep into diablo right now. This episode said everything I am feeling. I look forward to next week's episode!

    Excellent!
Finally a Diablo podcast that’s not amateur and childish. Highly recommended.

    Yes!
Yet another great show to the Fropants lineup. Keep them coming!

    Finally, a Frogpants Diablo Podcast!
Long time Instance listener, and current listener of the Angry Chicken and Into the Nexus (both of which are fantastic), beyond excited for this podcast. About time we had a legitimate Diablo podcast from none other than the almighty Scott Johnson!
  • Alcarnor

Great show. Plenty of news and tips

    Let's GOOOO!!!!

    YAY! Super excited!
Scott, please hurry up and release the first episode. I am super excited. Long time “ The instance” fan, and now playing diablo 3 again since blizzard really “fixed” the game with the expansion! Also I love the season idea, thanks for all your hard work.
  • Josh Wittmann
    So hype.
I love everything on frogpants, and have spent 400+ hrs of my life playing diablo 3 (leveling 4 softcore 70s, and 2 hardcore 70s). I love diablo and am bery excited to see how the 'season' format turns out

Scott Johnson and his Frogpants where made for Diablo
I've been listening to SJ's Frogpants programs since before his Frog had pants and the programs are all informative and humorous, filled to the froggy gills with trivia, nerd notes and tidbits. While I love the while gang Nicole Spag, Dills, Turpster, and everybody I think Scott's new format will be something to look forward to as I've always enjoyed the approach he takes to games, being great. Being informed but most of all having fun. can't wait for Diablo! I've played PC and am now playing console and will look forward to hearing him discuss these differences. I can't believe how much easier the game is on the ps3 than PC. It almost feels broken with a ton of legendary drops. It's the some reason I'm keeping the ps3 connected right next to my ps4 so I can come home at night and feel like a legendary wizard of all powerful smashy goodness as I traverse Sanctuary and adventure forth. Yeah for this new show!

    Scott has magic powers
FINALLY!!! Scott has read our minds and given us what we've wanted all along! A Podcast about Diablo!! Happy looting!
