    Not natural..?
I’ve only listen to episode, but I do believe first impression says a lot. I find the host, Chigusa’s voice, while enthusiastic (maybe a little too much), is not genuine, scripted for commercial-type audio, which makes the episode sounds like a commercial instead of delivering valuable information. It also sounds like she’s patronizing the guest and the listeners. Maybe it’s her natural way of speaking, but if not - maybe relax and be yourself?

    WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?
In episode “essential Vietnamese vocabulary # 2 : food” The Vietnamese speaker pronounces PHÕ, and he English speaker repeats , The sound PHO ( Phoh, foe) , why would he pronounce it incorrectly if the episode guides state that TONAL LANGUAGES , require certain tones and pronunciations?

Not good for learning how to speak
The podcasts are too short and only teach you one phrase at a time. Not good for people who already know some basics and want to learn how to actually speak Vietnamese

    Very helpful
My Vietnamese is very rusty, and this is a good review. I’m more used to the southern accent, but this program is in the northern accent which makes it a bit harder to process in my mind. I like that the sentence is repeated many times and there is an explanation of how the sentence is formed.Thank you!
