BEHIND THE PANEL is a SYFY WIRE podcast documentary series that celebrates everything comics. Guests include legendary DC/Marvel writers and artists (like Jim Lee, Frank Miller, and Neal Adams), hit creator-owned stars (including Karen Berger, Pia Guerra, and Becky Cloonan), as well as the talents behind comic-book movie/TV adaptations (like Kevin Conroy, Burt Ward, and Lindy Hemming). As well as the exclusive, personal stories shared on the podcast, every episode features an original music score.

BEHIND THE PANEL is hosted and written by Emmy-winner Mike Avila, executive produced by SYFY WIRE's Matt Romano, and produced, scored and edited by Paul Terry.

    A great podcast that gets at the heart of comics. Covers milestones, interviews with major players, and covers important events. I wish it was longer and more frequent, but thats just cuz I’m greedy. Keep up the great work! Nuff said.

    Great podcast for all fans
    I’ve always loved superheroes having grown up on Super Friends and the 60s Batman tv series on reruns, but only now in my 40s have I started to take interest in the source material - comic books. Behind the Panel does a great job covering all the facets of comic books, and it does so in a way those of us not familiar with the medium can fully get absorbed into the topic.
